Here’s how it works: For every sofa sold from now through Sept. 3, Sofa Mart will donate $20 to "Ninos de la Calle" (street children), a World Vision program that provides food, shelter and education to assist the estimated 2 million homeless children in Mexico City.
The $20 donation will be made for all sofas sold at all 25 Sofa Mart stores nationwide. In 2000, the program’s first year, $88,000 was raised for World Vision. "It’s a small way for us to make a difference in the lives of some of the world’s forgotten children."
