Hey there! I have new recommendations and 3 ideas for taking your English to the next level. I'm gonna start from obvious stuff and then move to not so obvious

1#

At this point you should consume tons of content so your English naturally gets better without solely relaying on lessons only

Some content ideas in order of difficulty from easy to hard: YouTube videos, articles, adapted English books, TV shows, movies

#2

You have mentioned that you have hard times watching movies and it's not always a pleasurable experience when you have to follow subtitles throughout the whole movie

There is a special game at puzzle-english.com called "Phrase master" designed for students who have problems with listening and want to overcome this barrier as fast as it is possible

I'm gonna explain what it is at our next lesson

3#

Before mentioning the next recommendation I want you to imagine the following situation

Let's say you are talking with a native speaker. You have modest Russian accent and it doesn't seem to create much problem

OK, then let's move to another situation. You are talking with non-native English speaker. Let's say a guy from India. Then in this situation your Russian accent adds up with his thick Indian accent and so it all creates a problem in communication

My point is that the less accent you have the smother and more enjoyable conversation is. And also not to forget the listening gets whole a lot easier

To get this point straight there is another app you can work in a self-study mode called ELSA

We're gonna take a look at this app at our next lesson too
