Manager, Network Operations в MasterCard


The role reports to Vice President, Network Operations, based in Moscow and is part of a cross functional Operations & Technology Russia team.


You will manage and coordinate a team of level 1 Operators in the local OCC (Operations Command Center) supporting the daily operational support functions of the Russia on Soil networks and systems.


The team will control and manage the application and network monitoring of the Mastercard customers in Russia using global tools and systems.


Role

• Manage relationship between Mastercard Russia Operations and third party network and IT infrastructure providers, interacting with other Global Operations teams and second level support teams.

• Establish and manage departmental procedures and standards to ensure prompt resolution of network problems and provide the maximum network availability.

• Direct and coordinate the actions taken by department personnel and external technical support groups required to solve problems in an effective and timely manner.

• Provide leadership, direction, development, and supervision to staff. Ensure staff has appropriate skills and behaviors. Effectively communicate objectives/expectations, and performance.

• Assist in identifying needs and the development/implementation of procedures to fulfill departmental responsibilities.

• Manage workload within approved manpower and budget guidelines.

• Ensure timely and accurate performance communication and process compliance, document problem areas and coordinate resolutions, reporting to management as necessary.

• Create positive environment for knowledge transfer amongst team members and remote subject matter experts.


All About You

• Seasoned IT professional in an IT Operations environment

• Excellent People Management and Leadership skills

• Advance knowledge of telecommunication technology and processes

• Fluency level in English and Russian is required

• Good understanding of financial transactions/applications (real time authorizations, clearing, settlement, etc…)

• Self-starter with ability to work independently and provide team with clear directions.

• Demonstrated strong partnership and collaboration skills

• Strong business acumen; understands the external environment; cross cultural resourcefulness, able to manage diverse relationships.

• Solutions oriented; strong analytical skills with extended experience in problem analysis.

• Results driven: makes timely thoughtful decisions and executes efficiently and effectively.

• Strong analytic skills with extended experience with database analysis.

• Ability to travel locally and regionally to meet with customers upon demand
