There is NO additional cost for being a Bride. Airbrush and lash application are standard with no additional cost if requested. Just Eyes: $ (please inquire as this service may vary)For years we have offered this service, and more often than not we are asked to complete a full face (9 out of 10 appointments).
This obviously dose not work well with the high demand we receive on our schedule, and for that reason we have begun scheduling full applications for all "Just Eyes" requests in order to accommodate this request. Just Lash Application:Classic Lash: $15.00Diva Lash: $21.50Paperself Lash: $27.50Early/Late Appointments:$10 is requested for each appointment booked before/After hours. On-Location Scheduled Appointment: $150.00+This service includes Initial makeup application with one artist scheduled on-location in the central Iowa area. Each additional Makeup Application per artists is $75.00. An Additional $0.55 per mile is added for appointments requesting Artist(s) to travel outside of the Des Moines, Iowa area.~Specialty Services~Makeup Seminar: $95.00+Group seminars start at $95.00 per 90min. (1 hour seminar, with 30 min open forum.) Basic seminars cover basic makeup history, cosmetic use, and color theory. Artists attending these seminars in-shop receive 30% off any makeup purchases. Perfect for understanding unique tools like airbrush or learning custom techniques for special effectsSpecial Effects: $ (Consultation required)(Non-toxic head molding available for foam appliances & special effects)Body Art: $ (Consolation Required)(Body makeup is customized upon request)Airbrush Gun Cleaning:For some artists, cleaning their airbrush gun is too stressful and complicated, and they don't want to do it. If you are one of those artist feel free to call us to schedule an appointment to have us clean it. We will take the gun fully apart and clean out any clogs and dried up foundation, then reassemble it and make sure it's back to a like new condition.
This service typically takes a day and the gun will be ready to pick up in 24 hours. In some cases the gun may be past a point of no return and a deep cleaning will not help. In this case we will let you know as soon as we know. Sometimes repairs are needed also, we typically have spare parts on hand so we can replace most things if needed, we will contact you and make sure it is okay with you before we replace any parts as that will be extra. ~Deposits are requested for Friday, Saturday, Sunday, on-location, and special requests to confirm reservations. Costs, & artist requests may be subject to change upon the technical service requested and availability the day of, but will not be changed without notice. All deposits are non-refundable with appointment scheduling as they reserve the request, unless prior arrangements are made to cover the cost of deposit by an alternative appointment. Phone numbers are required to confirm deposit payments by phone to confirm any appointment changes.
HAIR: We get many requests to do hair for special events, and while we may be able to dry style simple looks, our Makeup skills are considered to be the Best in Des Moines (Voted by City View) and are so because we give full attention to our Makeup Applications. For your convenience we do have 5 hair styling studios all within 1 block of our boutique. If you would like to set up services at one of these locations please call and we can give you their information. In addition we do offer a chair rental to bring in your own stylist at $10 per hour, this special request is only available if we do not have all our service stations booked.
