Liu Xiaodong

🔳 Liu Xiaodong (born 1963 in Liaoning, China) is a contemporary Chinese artist.

His art communicates and is related to by viewers easily with scenes that are recognizable as ordinary life.

Rather than exploring metaphysical ideas through neo-realism, Liu is strongly attracted to the ordinary.
