Thief

Holy amazeballs! Dontnod did a great job of disguising this into a seemingly high-school drama-ridden game but it twisted itself into Lost and Twin Peaks after the third episode. And, boy, is that a good thing!

This review is a bit prejudiced, as I play games for characters' development, storytelling, voice acting and not much for the mechanics (a la gameplay, graphics). The story goes out of the window because there's nothing new to tell, only the way how you can tell your story.

I'll tell you what you won't probably like straight away: rubber graphics, facial animation/expression is unsynced when they speak, some plot holes, and sometimes music. Now, to the good part. This game sets the bar of storytelling near the likes of BioShock, The Last of Us, RDR, and I dare to add that in some cases it exceeds at that department.

The correct choice is the wrong one.
