So Linux by itself is simple.
0) Choosing your distro and what makes these distros simple/hard
Manjaro is not something I'd recommend to anyone because it's arch based and arch based breaks often unless you know exactly what you're doing. You need to pick a distro more suited to beginners, like for example linux mint. On Mint, you'll always be able to find the software you need. Discord is readily available as a deb package and so is most software. If you were looking for something easy and well supported, debian based should've been your first choice. Mint also makes it easy to install the drivers and codecs you need. During installation, you can choose to install codecs, hardware drivers, etc. Mint also makes it extremely easy to install your graphics drivers, it's literally one click.
1) SOFTWARE
It's so easy. Whenever you want to install something, you can use your package manager. `apt install firefox` compared to going to firefox.com, clicking download, opening the exe, installing firefox. What if you want to update your software? On windows, you have to update everything individually. On Linux, all you need to do is `dnf upgrade` and you're done. There's also a graphical package manager that makes things extremely easy. You just open it up and type firefox in the search bar and click install. Tell me how this is more complicated then on windows when you have to go hunting for the software's website.
2) USE
Windows' interface is not more complicated than say cinnamon's. In fact, it's more complicated. When you open up the windows start menu you're barraged with ads and a huge list full of software. Sure you can search, but that's not obvious. On Cinnamon the software is all organized by category, like "internet" and "media" which makes it inherently easier to find your software.
3) GAMING AND GAMES
Your argument was that Linux doesn't support as many games. While that's true, Linux support has been growing exponentially over the last few years (see https://screenshots.firefox.com/lAvo8MqOV1hXyFJt/steamdb.info) and for most people their favorite games will be on linux. **Gaming performance is not worse than on Linux. That's due to the dev not giving a shit about their game and not optimizing or testing it.** Drivers such as amdgpu (which is open source) and the proprietary nvidia drivers run games perfectly, and in some cases better than windows.

Any more things I should go over? Fire away and I'll happily answer
