If anyone knows of a property that has rooms with recliners or will provide one on request, please let me know. I am pretty sure the Gold Class rooms at GN have recliners. Do not know of anywhere else. I am looking for someplace on the Strip. My mom sleeps in a medical recliner and has for 20 yrs. She cannot sleep in a bed. Foxwoods is prepared for this situation, it is common, you just call from the room for a recliner and they bring one up. I have asked in the past in Vegas and am looked at like I have just given them something to go home and tell the folks "Today this crazy lady actually asked for a recliner!
Can you believe it!?". So I am sparing myself that and asking here if the lack of recliners in Vegas has changed at all. I don't know of hotels that have recliners available but I hope you're able to find one for your mom. I have friends who have to sleep in a recliner due to pain issues when lying down so I can understand the necessity.I think you get the original question of the month award...you are in the running for the annual award too because it seems a lot of people are stumped right now! Have not used this company but have been looking for a chair for my Aunt for our Spring trip. It seems the pickup/delivery works the same as the scooter rentals we have used before. Thanks LuvRingo, I accept!!!! But candycornhead is fantastic, that is wonderful!!!!!!! We use Active Mobility in Vegas for wheelchairs but I will use this company now! I am not touchiong the "crazy lady' question as my opinions on that subject are set. Seriously, like they said a medical supply - hospital bed rental store? Las Vegas Wheelchairs will deliver and rent medi lift chairs to Vegas hotels. This is wonderful, wonderful news! Yes Big Brother, still crazy, but not crazy enough to drink a Bacon Martini!!!!!!!!!!! It is much easier for me to herd the ladies when I am staying in the same hotel as them! Mom and I jumped from Bill's to the Palazzo last year in search of the perfect resting place for Mom, while the others were at the Flamingo. The only place she has ever slept comfy in Vegas was Bellagio on two comfy armchairs pushed together. I will spring for B again in a heartbeat, it is just so much easier (and fun) when we are all under the same roof! Thanks for sharing this info with everyone, foxy and candycornhead. I am sure it is going to be a great help for those who need it. Candlewood Suites offer recliners in all their rooms.
