This chair is on the small side for a recliner but very comfortable. Excellent value for a lift chair. Bought it for my SIL, who is about the same height. She loves it, sleeps in it when her shoulder is bothering her. Seat is firm, but not hard. Doesn't go fast enuf to dump her on the floor, but almost stands her up. No, this is a recliner and lift's you up only.Mine is a power recliner. You can stop anywhere you want it to. it also will lift whoever is in it to help them get up and out without the problem that some of us older people have getting out of a soft chair.
no, it just reclines. But be careful when getting out of it, If you don't put the legs down all the way it can tip forward and throw you to the floor! It lifts but it doesn't rock. The back seat portion will need to be attached to the seat portion of the chair. Under the recliner, there will be some parts, a wire to attach to the wall and the transformer and the wire to attache to the motor. Once it is assembled it will weigh 110, and will be 34 inches x 37.5 inches x 42.5 inches tall. Open box, take off plastic, find cords and plug, slide back onto rails...plug in and all done! After reading about several people missing this items, I'm skeptical to get it. They said, ut doesn't operate without it. Also does it comes with battery back up? If not can it be installed or do you have others chairs with the same qualities that has a battery back up. Can someone please reply, I have been leaving messages since Friday. An order for this recliner will include the power cord and transformer. If for any reason it is not with your order, we would be happy to send the new transformer and cords to you. We do not have a battery back up available but you may be able to purchase one through another retailer. I bought this chair for my father (94) his legs are real weak and he has trouble getting up, received chair in good shape, very easy to put together bout 2 mins, power adapter was with chair and is pretty small, chair works great and is of pretty good quality, very soft to sit it my dad is only about 5ft 7in works great for him, if a person is really tall, his legs would hang off the end.

The seat width is 18.5", the seat depth is 20.5", and the seat height is 20".There shouldn't be any problems getting the chair in the elevator. The pro lounger is fine. The lift is controlled by the remote control if you want it lifted high.and it also reclines all the way back. My 10 year old daughter loves it and sleeps on it nightly. The transformer and power cord are tied to the underside of the chair seat in a white bag.
