Buy your single ticket from the driver as you get on the coach. Pay the driver with cash - it helps the driver if you are able to offer the right change for your fare, and please remember our drivers may not be able to change £50 notes on the coach. Children under 5 travel free. See the child fares section below if you want to know more about child fares in your area. These give you two trips - one to go and one to come back again the same day. You’ll need to keep your ticket safe to show the driver on your return trip. Prices depend on where you get on and where you're going. Buy return tickets on the coach from the driver. Pay cash for your return ticket – with the right money if possible. You can make your return trip at any time the same day.
You’re not tied to specific times and don’t need to book in advance. There are usually discount prices for children over 5, but conditions vary by region. See the child fares section below if you want to know more about child fares in your area. Peak and off-peak return tickets These give you two trips - one to go and one to come back again. These are available on all Green Line services to London. Off-peak return tickets are available on the first service after 0900 travelling to London and any time at weekends and public holidays. For concessionary passes there is no peak time journey if you are starting in London. However the Green Liner plus is not valid till after 0930. There are no peak and off-peak restrictions on Green Line 724. Return fares are available on many of our services across the country and the cost of a return ticket is usually cheaper than buying two single tickets. In some areas we offer off-peak return fares, which offer an even greater level of discount if you travel at less busy times.
These give you two trips - one to go and one to come back again on a different day. They allow you to come back any time up to 3 months after your outward journey. Period Return tickets are not available on Green Line 724. These give you ten single trips in either direction – within one calendar month. 10-Journey tickets are only available on Green Line 757 and 758. You’ll need to keep your ticket safe to show the driver on all ten trips. Buy 10-Journey tickets on the coach from the driver. Pay cash for your 10-Journey ticket – with the right money if possible. With a Season ticket you can make as many journeys as you want on any of the routes in your chosen zone for a whole year – that’s any 365 consecutive days (or 366 if it’s a leap year). You can buy them securely right here on the website. Also available as an m-ticket through your mobile phone. For 758 you can also buy at the Hemel Hempstead bus station. For 757 you can also buy at the Arriva Travel Centre in the Mall.
All Green Line season tickets can also be purchased at our Travel shop in Victoria. Unfortunately Annual Saver tickets can’t be shared with anybody else. They can only be used by the person for whom it was issued and a photo card will need to be presented when travelling. Season tickets for Green Line 757 are also valid on the Arriva local buses in the Luton and Dunstable Zone. Season tickets on Green Line 758 are also valid in the Hemel Hempstead zone. Special travel deals for people over 60 Holders of English national concessionary bus passes can travel free of charge on Green Line services after 0930 on weekdays and at any time on Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays. On weekday evenings your journey must commence before 2300 to qualify for free travel. Passholders whose passes were issued in Hertfordshire enjoy additional benefits and can travel at any time of day on Green Line 724. Children aged 0-4 years do not pay on any of the Green Line services.
Conditions for children aged 5 and over vary depending on where your journey starts: 5 -13 years - a child fare will be issued, no identification is required 14-16 years - a child fare will be issued if a valid Faresaver card is shown 16- 18 years - a child fare will be issued if a valid Faresaver card is shown 18 yrs + - full fare has to be paid 5-11 years - a child fare will be issued, no identification is required 11-16 years - child most hold a Herts CC Savercard in order to obtain the child fare. 16-18 years - students who hold a Savercard can continue to get a discounted rate 18 years + - special student fares are available on 757 on production of a NUS/ISIC card 5-15 years - a child fare will be issued, no identification is required 16 years - full fare needs to be paid A note about Green Line 701 702 For all details regarding fares and tickets on Green Line 701 702 between London, Slough, Windsor, Legoland and Bracknell please visit www.gogreenline.co.uk
