Adult(Ages 12 & older)$629 & up Child(Ages 3–11)$629 & upANAHEIM – Wholesale giant Costco, starting today, is selling a $330 annual pass for Disneyland’s sister park, Disney California Adventure.

The limited-time Disney California Adventure Park Fun Pass has about 60 blockout dates, mostly holidays and Saturdays in summer. The pass is available for a limited time at Southern California Costco locations and online. It comes with a 10 percent discount on food and merchandise purchases and an exclusive collector’s pin. The pass must be purchased by Dec. 1. This is the second time Disney has offered a separate annual pass for Disney California Adventure, but is the first time using Costco as a channel. Disney briefly sold separate annual passes for the two Anaheim parks when Disney California Adventure opened in 2001, but merged the two into a single offering a few years later. Disney’s annual passes good for both parks range from $329, with more than 180 blocked-out days, to $1,049, with no block-outs. Costco also sells an annual pass for Universal Studios Hollywood for $110 and individual tickets to Knott’s Soak City and Legoland. “We work with many travel partners to sell a variety of tickets for our theme parks.

We are excited to work with Costco for this particular project.” Michele Himmelberg, Disneyland spokeswoman, said. According to the latest Themed Entertainment Association trade report, more than 18.2 million people visited Disneyland and 9.3 million visited California Adventure last year. This year, the park has introduced revamped attractions, including Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters and Soarin’ Around the World, and a new musical, “Frozen Live At The Hyperion.” Park officials recently announced that the popular Twilight Zone Tower of Terror will be reimagined as a Marvel ride based on “Guardians of the Galaxy,” to open next summer. Sitting next to the original Disneyland that Walt Disney built in 1955, Disney California Adventure had an early history of underperforming. Park attendance didn’t really kick in until the June 2012 opening of Cars Land. Though attendance at Disney California Adventure lags that of Disneyland, the theme park is still one of the most popular in the nation.
