He had birthday money to spend and you have a great selection in your store. All 4 adults and one child enjoyed our adventure. Amazing what you can build and your displays were awesome throughout Legoland. LEGOLAND Cafe offered a new Daily Special that included the Kids Pizza. The children said it was delicious. My first tip is to buy your tickets online. You save $5 per person that way. (This tip is for people like me. We'll come back to this later.) My second tip is to get there early. I can't stress that one enough. We went on President's Day, when a lot of kids were off school. The place opens at... First visit here...agree with other posters that it is pricey for what is included. My girls 8 and 12 had a few hours of fun though. They loved the 4 D movie,the rides and making your own cars to test. They also had fun in the play area. It didn't seem too busy for a Friday,but there was a school...It is perfect for our 4yr old. We did invest in an annual pass since we are so close. Yes I know I've heard the complaints of it being overpriced. But watch their FB page, they run deals ALL the time on tickets. Jennea who works there is always so super nice to us! My 3 grandchildren all opted for LEGOLAND as their birthday outing. They had fun, but I felt that there was not enough there for the price we paid.
I was looking for more creative opportunities. The "class" was enjoyable but no "insider tips and super tricks" as the website described. Instead it was a step-by-step instruction of a kit. Happy belated birthday to your grandchildren! I'm thrilled to hear that you were able to celebrate with them at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Michigan and that they had fun. If you're able to come back and visit us, I encourage you to visit Clint, our Master Model Builder, in his workshop which is right next to the Creative... I took my grandson but the tickets were out of budget. We toured the store and of course they carry a majority of $100+ Lego sets. Great time had by all.2 boys ages 5 & 6 Super clean, classy, and professional. Very much a younger child's play place (3-9) and more enjoyable when less crowded. We went on a Sunday morning. I highly recommend it. Took us about 3.5 hours and we did it all at a casual pace. Well, happy belated birthday to your son! I'm so glad that you were able to come and celebrate with us and had a great time. Saturdays, Sundays and school holidays are typically our busiest times, so I always encourage people to visit on weekdays or in the evenings for the most enjoyable experience. There's a lot to do... As an adult you must attend Legoland on Adults Only special event nights; usually the third Thursday of each month at the Michigan location. Tickets include adult beverages and snacks, with an option for designated driver tickets (non-adult beverage). We were quite surprised to have such a great evening.
