No park admission required. 1 Review for Bricks Family Restaurant - LEGOLAND Hotel '12, '13, '14, '16 "Yummy food, kid-friendly dining" LEGOLAND has created a brand new restaurant with families in mind that offers a fun environment and great food. The food at Bricks is fantastic, healthy, and kid-friendly. It is set up as an all-you-can-eat buffet with set prices, and is open for breakfast and dinner to guests and non-guests of the LEGOLAND Hotel. What we loved:• Tablecloths with LEGO pictures for the kids to color• Kid-level buffet with kid-friendly choices, including some healthy options• A wide variety of delicious “adult” food• A soft-serve ice cream machine• Friendly servers who were willing to help fill drinks or get items we neededWhat we didn’t love:• Heavy porcelain kid plates, although they were smaller in size than adults• An adult price tag of $25 ($10 per child) feels a bit steep for a theme park vacation but the food and the environment was very excellent and could be deemed “worth it”!

After we were seated at a table with a friendly little LEGO guy holding the ketchup, we were given free reign of the dinner buffet. My kids flocked to the low-level buffet in the center that offered grilled cheese, chicken nuggets, mac ‘n cheese, and more. Healthy treats beckoned such as steamed broccoli and fruit cups. My kids picked up the juice boxes and milk cartons (chocolate of course!) and I helped my 4 & 6 year olds back to the table. Their plates were a bit too heavy for them to carry and I was worried that they would drop them off the small edge of the buffet shelf. They loved all the food they picked.I wandered the different counters of Mexican food, a carving station (think Thanksgiving specialties), salad bar, pasta bar, and fresh fruit. It was difficult to choose but I realized after a long day at LEGOLAND I was hungry for some real American food. The carved turkey melted in my mouth along with mashed potatoes and some great stuffing. The expert chefs on hand had created masterpieces of great dining!

My kids only saw the self-serve ice cream dispenser for dessert and they filled their bowls with a mix of vanilla and chocolate and then piled on the sprinkles. I enjoy a dish of cheesecake while I eyed the apple pie and fruit options. The options for breakfast were almost overwhelming… in a good way. I wanted to try everything! But seeing a chef behind a hot plate ready to make an omelet-to-order captured my attention. He created it with mastery and I enjoyed it immensely, especially when it was topped with fresh cheese and California avocados. My kids gave high 5s to the LEGO character and loved getting their pictures taken with him. Breakfast is the time when kids will enjoy meeting various LEGO characters. There were countless LEGO creations throughout the restaurant that my kids liked discovering. My son noticed the LEGO man with the large mixing bowl making a LEGO cake and that caught his fancy.  After a long day at LEGOLAND with tired feet and hungry family members, the Bricks Family Restaurant is a great place to unwind and refuel.

I really enjoyed the healthy food that was created for an amazing taste all set in a very fun environment.Disclosure: My family was hosted for 2 meals at Bricks Family Restaurant in order to share our experience. I was not asked to present a particular point of view and all opinions are my own.
