My family is planning to spend 2 days at Legoland. I'm trying to find discount tickets, much like everyone else, but the info for discounts is for 1-day tickets. Does anyone happen to know of promos or suggestions on how to find discounts for 2-day tickets? I know that if you can get a hold of a Lego Club Jr. magazine there are coupons for a FREE child admission with a paid adult, that saves $65 (+tax), don't know about 2 day discount but hope this helps =) Just to follow up from our trip, especially as it seems no one else knew the answer... I scoured around online and did find some online travel agents selling 2-day admission tickets for a reasonable discount. My only concern was about how reputable these online travel agents were... no info there... and didn't want to end up in a pickle once at LL. So we ended up getting one day passes (through pay one adult, get one child free promo; and also the discount Publix ticket for the other adult). Then paid the $15/ticket + tax at LL guest services for the second day admission.
All went smoothly, no issues about upgrading the free child ticket. And our family had a wonderful time at LL. Only thing we didn't anticipate was a thunderstorm in the mid-afternoon on the second day, which closed down many of the rides and back portion of the park. So even with 2 days, the one thing we missed was the Cypress Gardens. But went to Bok Tower also while in the area, so we're speculating that it would have been similar. Also purchased one of the photo souvenirs. Brick Wall, where they print your picture on a wall made from Legos. Kinda like a jigsaw puzzle, except made with Legos. Got it late just before park closing, and surprised at how dark the picture came out. We were reassured it would lighten after drying for 24 hours, but no it didn't. We got in touch with LL customer service about the problem, and was resolved with a replacement wall mailed to our home plus a bonus for the inconvenience. Surprised, impressed, and relieved at how LL handled it, especially since those souvenirs are souvenir price!
Anyway, if we lived in FL, we would definitely be annual pass holders, our family loved it! I should add that we went in May 2012, before the water park opened. So we obviously didn't budget time or finances for that! But it sure was hot enough that if it had been open, we definitely would have checked that out too! Can you upgrade to 2 days at the end of your first day or do you have to do it before you enter the park for the first time? Upgrades can be done on the way out Does the second day have to be immediately the following day or can it be used a few days later? We are thinking Monday, then Thursday.
