That way you'll know if that discounted hotel in New York really is a steal or is something you can pass on until your plans are firmed up.Read the fine print. Many offers have a limited travel window. The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess deal, for example, is good for stays on select dates in December. And you don't want to buy discounted Legoland tickets for your trip next summer only to find out that the offer is good on visits through late March. Blackout dates apply for every deal and vary by offer.Note that many offers say "up to'' a certain percentage off or they list starting room rates. The lowest prices tend to be for off-peak days — say, the middle of the week versus weekends. Don't see your favorite hotel, airline or destination on this list?
