I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the 3-day pass for Legoland that you can obtain from Costco. I was wondering if it would be possible to use the 3-day pass on the same day but for 3 individuals, as opposed to 3 different days for the same individual. How do these passes work? Do they write your name on all the tickets, so you can't "transfer" them to anyone else? Learn more about the Go San Diego Card! NO, the pass must be used on three different days. Once the barcode is scanned for one person, then it won't work until the next day. As for transferring, they state they are non-transferable, but there is no real safety protocol that stops another person to use it on a different day. if you are looking for discounts on legoland tickets, mousesavers is a good website that will list current discount available for you for attractions, here is their legoland page LA to SanDiego drive, which route has more scenery Restaurant choice for a graduation (from law school) lunch

website they are really offering a very good deal for Legoland tickets right now. However, as said, you would need to contact the specific stores in the area to see what they may have in stock, however, there are never any guarantees of tickets being available for your visit if they have them. You also may want to look at the Mousesavers website which lists current discounts on attractions for you ( they dont sell tickets). On the Mousesavers website, there appears to be somewhat comparable discounts to what may be offered at Costco. They would also list any discount on the website to the San Diego Zoo. It also appears you may be visiting the attractions listed on the Southern California City Pass. Just in case you were not aware of it, it offers a 3 day Disneyland Parkhopper ticket, 1 day Seaworld ticket, and 1 day Universal Studios ticket. Even if you can only use the 3 day Parkhopper and Seaworld ticket is still often the best value for you. And, if you live in Canada, you can get them online thorugh the Costco Canada website for a great price making it even a better deal at $289 for adults.

Costco's 3 day SD pass includes Legoland. The Legoland ticket at Costco is a 2 day ticket @ $79.99 each and IS available at most So Cal Costco locations, including the Carlsbad location. If you're only planning on going to Legoland for 1 day, you may want to consider buying a coupon off Ebay. I bought a Legoland Coupon from this Seller and got it shipped to me in Vancouver for under $5 including shipping (takes about 2 weeks): I know it says its for the PTA but they didn't care when I went to purchase the tickets at the ticket window. The coupon is good for 1 free parkhopper ticket with the purchase of a full price one plus $10 off additional tickets. It ended up costing $162.00 for myself, my wife, and my 5 yr old. ($91+$71 - Walk-up pricing) The coupon is valid until Dec 31, 2013 One destination mentioned in this post Thank you for all your helpful replies. We are going to get the Southern California City Pass from Costco for Disneyland and Sea World.

I am just trying to find the best price for San Diego Zoo and Legoland. We are going in August, so we'll probably spend two days at Legoland so that we can visit the waterpark as well. So far it looks like the 7-day advance purchase on their website is the best price at $76 for adults and $66 for kids. for the best deals for parks in Southern California. I am off to COSTCO sometime in the next few days (The one in San Diego on Morena Blvd.) and I will make sure and check and see what they are offering. Full disclosure, I do provide info to MouseSavers, but unpaid. (Mary who runs the site used to live in San Diego and happy to say a friend of mine). Also, MouseSavers is pretty much ad free.Theme Park Insider - January 2015 You can't tell anyone that you cover theme parks for a living without being asked: "How do I get cheap tickets for Disney World?" (Or Disneyland, if you're talking with someone on the west coast.) People have been conditioned by hotels and airlines never to pay the "full price" and always to look for discounts.

But theme parks don't change their prices from customer to customer like hotels and airlines do.Still, you can find discounts if you take the time and know where to look. Always start with theme parks' own websites to learn about ticket options and to find what you should consider the "baseline" price.Links to theme parks' online tickets:Many other retailers sell theme park tickets, too. If you buy from the parks themselves, you know that you're getting legitimate tickets that will work. When you buy elsewhere, that might not always be the case. Never buy theme park tickets from Craigslist, eBay, or people on the street. Multi-day Disney and Universal theme park tickets are linked to photos or finger scans of the people who first use them, so unused days are worthless to anyone else. If you try to use the unused days on someone else's theme park ticket, the park won't let you in. Fortunately for deal-seekers, theme parks work with a small group of authorized sellers who will provide tickets every bit as legit as those you can buy from the parks themselves.

Here are links to the online stores of five major authorized theme park ticket resellers. That link is to the Southern California Auto Club's website, but if AAA doesn't redirect you automatically to your club via that link, just look for the "Not Your Club?" link at the top of the page to find your local AAA chapter's discount page./universal, but the prices there are the same as you will find on Universal Orlando's online ticket store — which are $20 off the gate price for multi-day tickets.

Disneyland: AAA sells Disneyland tickets in person at its branches, for $4.75-8.50 off the gate price.
