Spider-Man: Ultra Pose-able Action Figure Official LEGO Comments 2 SPIDER-MANULTRA-POSE-ABLE LEGO ACTION FIGUREAfter completing my last two figures (Deadpool / Batman) I decided that my current human figure design was good, but still somewhat limiting, todays figures are more posable than ever, and I felt that my Lego Figures should follow the same evolution. This was only part of the impetous for the redesign, the other reason of course being the subject matter.

Spider-Man needed to be extremley posable even more so than a typical human being, so a complete overhaul was needed. He also needed to be slimmer to match Spider-Man's lithe, athletic physique, while including additional joints. NEW AND IMPROVED-He has a ball joint at the base of the neck as well as pivot joint at the base of the skull, allowing him to look all the way down and over his shoulders when contorted. -A mid-torso joint that allows him to bend his spine forward and back, it also rotates from left to right, like the waist joint.-His elbows and knees are double jointed, which allows free range of movement and the ability to fully crouch his legs.-The hips can now allow the legs up and over the wasteline allowing for those very spider-like poses.-His ankles have a second pivot joint for extra steep ankle poses, as well of full range of motion in the main joint.-His feet have an articulated toe piece to make those perching poses more natural.-I got a lot of feedback about some of my more lackluster photos of Batman, so I purchased better photo eqipment, seems to have made a difference, Thanks for the tips!

Never seen this before but I want it desperately. Spider-Man: The Symbiote Costume Official LEGO Comments 1 Spider-Man: The Symbiote CostumeUltra-pose-able Action FigureFirst off,Thank You to the 1,000 of you to support my Spider-Man Project on Cuusoo!Spider-Man Classic CostumeAs promised here is here is Spider-Man's black costume! My very first comic book was Todd McFarlane's Spider-Man#13which was a Black Costume Variant to the Iconic Spider-Man #1.

This comic was the trip down the rabbit hole into not only comic books, but art in general. It was this comic that made me pick up a pencil and start drawing. Today, I'm a making a living as a professional artist. It was the influence of Todd McFarlane (who I wrote my college entrance essay on) that I became the man I am today. I admired more than just his artistic ability but his self belief, self promotion (he sent in hundreds of submissions of his work to all the comic book companies, being rejected 100s of times before he got his shot.) and perseverance. I got a job in art in a similar matter, and it's also how I helped these projects get so much exposure. I believe in my work, and I believe in myself, and I believe that with hard work and determination you can accomplish your dreams, and Todd McFarlane is who I owe that to. He is also known for his action figures!I'm dedicating this project to you. Thanks for the inspiration! I will do a Spawn eventually! As for the figure, it's the same general build as the, classic Spidey, except I made him a little bit more muscular and bulkier (he was a bit stronger in the suit) I made a few obvious changes to the chest and back in order to incorporate the large logo.

Also I made some tentacles to show the inherently evil nature of the suit that eventually becomes Venom. Also, this version now has the correct amount of fingers on his hands ;)Please support, and if you haven't checked out my other projects you can see them all here:Other FiguresAnd Don't Forget to check My Flickr & Moc Pages for even more pics, creations, WIPs and lots of cool poses, not seen here!FlickrMoc PagesOh and 5,000 supports on the original Spider-Man will get: Spider-Man 2099!P.S. Stay tuned for More Avengers starting with the Hulk!Pleased to announce That I have partnered with GlenBricker on this and all of my other projects. Please Join me in welcoming Glen to the project!I never was a huge fan of Spider-Man, but this latest Lego Cuusoo finding certainly puts the “amazing” back into the “Amazing Spider-Man” for me. I was recently contacted by the artist behind this impressive creation, Mike McCooey, and it did not take me long to start writing about it.This article has been reproduced in a new format and may be missing content or contain faulty links.

to report an issue. The Lego group has already come up with a collection dedicated to Marvel Heroes, but I can honestly say that none of the sets comes anywhere close to this one. Not only this creation is an accurate representation of the human spider, but the choice of Lego pieces in there really raises the complexity level. Especially recreating every joint that gives Spider-Man his legendary flexibility and wall climbing skills. McCooy is like many of us, an adult fan of Lego who went through, as he puts it, the “Dark Ages” when as a teen, Lego bricks were not so cool anymore. But thanks to a little geeklet, he came to reason again few years back. His love for comics and career as a graphic designer did the rest, by giving him the proper foundations to build a series of Lego based comic wonders! Spider-Man is just one of many masterpieces in the pipeline, and McCooey has even recently released an Iron Man set which should most certainly climb the Lego Cuusoo ratings in no time.
