It was well worth the wait. Lego is partnering with Universal Pictures to bring the colorful bricks to the Jurassic World franchise, just a few months before the upcoming film (starring Chris Pratt) opens in theaters in June. It's been 14 years since Jurassic Park III hit the silver screen, and Jurassic World has been in the works for almost as long.

See also: Furbacca is the most epic 'Star Wars' Furby in the galaxy We were hoping for the inclusion of the classic "Jurassic Park" entrance sign. The collection is modeled more on the latest installment of the film series than previous installments. But we are treated to some recognizable elements like raptors, jeeps, helicopters, flare sticks, mosquitos with amber and of course, T. Rex. Lego, which will officially launch these sets on May 1, said it worked closely with Universal Pictures to recreate the upcoming scenes. The main set, Indominus Rex Breakout ($129, picture above) features a white T. Rex trying to break out of her pen. The set includes an ACU trooper, a handler, a helicopter, 4 minifigures, a gyroball (a plastic ball that fits a figurine within) and amber with a mosquito — a nod to how the dinosaurs were replicated in the original film. Another set, the Pteranodon Capture ($19.99), features a "Jurassic One" chopper who can chase a pteranodon with its mounted net shooter.

Meanwhile, the Dilophosaurus Ambush set ($29.99) comes with a Dilophosaurus dinosaur, a young boy figurine who needs to escape by using the gyroball, an ACU trooper with a shock rod and a jeep. It also comes with Owen's motorbike, a flickshooter and a medical truck. Image: Mashable, Dustin DrankoskiLastly, the T. Rex Tracker ($69.99) showcases — guess who — T. Rex, and comes with four figurines, a flare stick and rope shooter to distract her. It also comes with a four wheeler truck and cage. That’s one massive amount of toys, and one certain to drain your wallet before you can say “but I – stay in that cockpit!”

Lucky you, a Naboo Starfighter (75092) from Star Wars Episode I is part of this release schedule. You’ll also see a Flash Speeder from that same film as well as the Imperial Shuttle Tydirium (75094) from Return of the Jedi – and that’s only a tiny sample of what’s to come! One of the most fantastic sets to come in this batch is the Final Duel – Luke Skywalker VS Darth Vader in the Throne Room with Emperor Palpatine. The Death Star Final Duel (75093) comes with 724 pieces and will cost you a cool $79.99 this June. Here you’ll see a new Darth Vader minifigure – perhaps a bit taller than the original Darth Vader whom, if you’ve ever compared to the rest of the characters in the Star Wars LEGO universe, you know is entirely too short. His helmet comes in two pieces instead of one – one below the head piece, another above. Just like the real Darth Vader! Three “polypack” sets will be released in the near future: A-Wing Starfighter (30272), AT-DP (30274), and TIE Advanced Prototype (30275).

Another set from Star Wars Rebels: Imperial Assault Carrier (75106). This set will carry 4 mini-TIE Fighters for battle. The Imperial Assault Carrier (75106) will come with 1216 pieces and will cost you $129.99 this June. One set that’ll be released nearer the end of this year is the Star Wars Advent Calendar 2015 (75097). This set will contain Santa C-3PO and a reindeer R2-D2 very likely inspired by the original 1979 greeting card illustrated by Ralph McQuarrie. Next you’ll find the Ultimate Collector Series TIE fighter (75095). This build is minifigure scale and therefore massive. Collectors plate and fabulous new TIE pilot included. Below you’ll see the Designer Video for this TIE fighter as well. This unit rolls in with 1685 pieces and will be released in May of 2015 for $199.99 USD. STAY TUNED as we tap into more images of these sets today! The most-loved Barbie doll and Lego toys have been toppled by an Australian toy company. One of the fastest-growing toy manufacturers in the US, Moose Toys, won the 2015 Girl Toy of the Year Awards at the Toy of the Year Awards ceremony in New York on Friday night.
