LEGO really does have it all. Not only does it allow LEGO fans to develop their creativity and problem-solving skills, it can also offer an escape into a whole new world. Building worlds with LEGO can mean escaping into the far-flung reaches of outer space with Star Wars, seeking out the darkest corners of Gotham City with Batman, or discovering the magical realm of Hogwarts with Harry Potter. The possibilities are almost endless – and the promise of each new world is defined and limited only by the LEGO constructor’s imagination. In creating these worlds, lovers of LEGO not only have the enjoyment of building and constructing, they also have something tangible that they have created, something that they can be proud of once the project is finished. Whether it’s a battle-ready space ship or an indestructible castle, these LEGO sets can be so intricate, they can almost be thought of as works of art. Indeed, they are a project, a creation, an achievement. Where should these carefully constructed masterpieces go when there is nowhere left to store them all?

LEGO offers a massive selection of sets and packs within a wide range of themes. The only difficulty comes with choosing between them. With a huge collection of LEGO sets on offer, eBay is the place to go for LEGO enthusiasts of all ages. From simple sets for LEGO newbies, to intricate designs that take weeks to conquer, there is a set for everyone who loves the world of LEGO. Choose by theme, by model type or by character family to discover eBay’s amazing selection of LEGO complete packs and sets – or stretch the imagination with LEGO bricks and building pieces to go completely off-plan!It is still pricey. LEGO, in general, is pricey on any given day, but a UCS, or Ultimate Collector Series, price drop is a significant news since UCS usually cost a lot more and that’s not to mention a discount like such on UCS sets is rarer then hen’s teeth. That said, if you are an avid LEGO UCS collector, you’d be glad to know that Amazon is, at the time of this writing, peddling the awesome LEGO UCS Star Wars Sandcrawler 75059 at a rather massive 21 percent discount, taking it from the original 300 bucks asking price down to $236.99.

So, you’d be saving yourself a good 60 odd dollars and that’s kind of big deal. Also, it is big deal because, as mentioned earlier, UCS sets hardly have any significant discount. If anything, their prices only creeps north by the day. Never south, like ever. Released in 2014, the LEGO UCS Star Wars Sandcrawler 75059 is considered an old collection and with that, you know what it means. It means it is awesome like other older sets like the Darth Vader TIE, X-Wing, AT-AT and the likes which, in my humble opinion, are way more better than subsequent releases. Anywho, if you want one, the you better act fast cos’ you never know how long this ‘low price’ will be around. Don’t say we did not tip you off. Images: LEGO via Amazon. Where to get comic books in Kuwait Fork Fed: 2015 Nutrition Trends LEGO Store Now Open LEGO have just opened their first shop in Kuwait at The Avenues. According to my friend whom I stole the snapchat screenshot from, he spotted the LEGO Architecture, Star Wars, Friends and Elves series all on display at the shop along with the regular LEGO sets.

They also sell LEGOs by the bowl where you get to pick different LEGO pieces and colors like you’re buying jelly beans. If you’re interested, the LEGO store is located in Phase II near the That Al Salasil bookshop. If you have anything you think would be interesting to share on this blog[Email Me] The new Lego Slave I set is a stunning Star Wars tribute 09.07.2014 :: 1:46PM EST I’ve loved Boba Fett’s Slave I ever since the first time I saw The Empire Strikes Back. When Lego offered up a new Slave I set back in 2010, I was pretty excited to see it… but that one doesn’t hold a candle to the one that’s coming out this year. Lego has updated Slave I for the 2014 holiday season, and it’s an amazingly faithful reproduction of the bounty hunter’s ship. If you look in the bottom left corner of the box, you’ll see why that’s the case: it’s part of the Lego Ultimate Collector Series. The “low-fi” 2010 set was just 573 pieces. The Ultimate Collector’s Slave I?

It’s packed with nearly 2,000 pieces. The difference is stunning. The 2010 set looks like a Lego set. The Ultimate Collector’s Series Slave 1 looks like a scale model that’s been meticulously crafted out of Lego bricks. Minifig Boba Fett no doubt loved his original ride, but the new ship is sure to make his Mandalorian mates seethe with jealousy. Yes, the wings and blasters rotate when Slave I goes on the offensive — and the door to the ship’s cargo bay opens up to accept pesky smugglers that have been frozen into carbonite slabs. In addition to Boba Fett, the set comes with a storm trooper, a Bespin guard, and Han Solo (both frozen and unfrozen). The set hasn’t been officially announced yet, so we don’t know what it’s going to sell for. Considering that the set has half as many pieces as the epic Death Star set (which is priced at $399) — and Lego’s rough $1 per 10 pieces pricing — it looks like Slave I will sell for around $200. subscribe to our newsletter:

You should have even less shame about giving them to your loved ones this holiday season, because seriously, have you seen most pop culture swag nowadays? Because pop culture swag nowadays is sweet as hell. For 17 years Lego has made playsets based on the galaxy far, far away, but this is by far the biggest: a fully armed and operational Lego battle station. Featuring just over four thousand pieces and over 20 mini-figures, this humongous display piece lets fans recreate iconic scenes from A New Hope and Return of the Jedi, from Luke and Leia's swing across the chasm, to the duel between Darth Vader and Luke in the Emperor's throne room.

This is a set for serious Lego and Star Wars diehards — just be prepared to spend a weekend building it. Funko doesn't just make those big-headed Pop vinyl toys that seemingly cover every franchise on the planet. In the case of Game of Thrones, they actually make a whole line of action figures too. Most of the current toys are based on characters from the Night's Watch and beyond the wall, which makes this playset depicting a chunk of the wall perfect to display them upon. It even comes with a Tyrion Lannister figure to start with, if you ever wanted to recreate the moment he empties his bladder atop the tallest structure in Westeros on your desk. Young Elliot and Darlene grew up obsessed with a very weird, very gory film called The Careful Massacre of the Bourgeoisie; it was a thematic influence on their lives, and it also inspired the "face" of their hacker group, fsociety. Gift this grinning replica to your favourite Mr. Robot fan to add to their hoodie collection. It would look just as good displayed on a wall as it would being worn in an anti-Evil Corp video.

The website selling the masks offers a volume discount, in case you need 100 of them to jump-start your own revolution. Starfleet Academy doesn't exist (yet), so your dreams of flying the Enterprise may seem to be unreachable. Not so, thanks to this rather amazing remote-controlled quadcopter of the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-A. Besides, you know, actually flying, it has 10 authentic lights and sounds, and it also easy enough that any beginner will feel like a captain in no time. Unless you're someone trying to scam their way through life, chances are that you love Lying Cat, the unofficial mascot of comic-book series Saga. Now the feline who only ever says one word of dialogue jumps from the pages of the best-selling sci-fi series by Brian K. Vaughn and Fiona Staples. Just look at that widdle judgmental grimace! Who can resist it? Inspired by The Walking Dead, Athony Petrie's beautiful print maps Rick Grimes's home stage of Georgia, while presenting a topographical chart of the stark reality that zombies will be killing most of his friends and loved ones.

This 24x26-inch print is limited to a run of 100, so don't dawdle if you want to give it to someone (or want it for yourself). Travel back in time to the far-flung future of 2015 with this wonderfully detailed figure based on Back to the Future Part II's memorable imagining of what 2015 might look like to someone in 1989. Featuring Marty McFly in his 2015-appropriate attire — right down to the shiny baseball cap and even the self-lacing Nike shoes! — this 30cm tall figure comes with a ton of fun accessories… and yes, of course he has the hoverboard too, and even a stand for you to pose him on it mid-flight. There's no shortage of novelty Monopoly variations out there, but this Steven Universe set is special. As you move your way around the board using your adorable token (your choices: Peridot's Boot, Garnet's Gauntlet, Roaming Eye, Ukulele, Greg's Van, or Lion), you might just land on Big Doughnut or the top-dollar property, Beach City Boardwalk... and if you have enough Crystal Gem-themed cash on hand, you can buy the damn place.

And forget about building a house or a hotel in this version of Monopoly — it's all Gems and Cluster Gems here. I have spent most of my life wanting to be on the bridge of U.S.S. Enterprise. And now I am an adult and I still want that ship's bridge in my home, which is made possible with this set that also includes Kirk, Spock, Uhura, and Sulu. It's a nice set for the Star Trek fan that won't completely break the bank. Tom Holland's new Spider-Man stole the show in Captain America: Civil War earlier this year, but if you're looking for merchandise of the Marvel Cinematic Universe-approved webslinger, it's hard to beat this brilliant version from Hasbro's 15cm line of Marvel Legends action figures. Spidey's only available in this box set, with variant versions of Captain America and Iron Man, battle-damaged from their brutal scuffle during the film's climax. Tony and Steve come with alternate heads, Cap's battle-scarred shield, and repulsor-blast effects pieces, but the real highlight is your friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man in his new movie costume.
