This is my NextThe LEGO Batman Movie / It's been 27 years since Billy Dee Williams played Harvey Dent in Tim Burton's 1989 Batman film, and the actor finally has the chance to star as the character's villainous alter-ego, Two-Face, in the upcoming The LEGO: Batman Movie. Director Chris McKay confirmed the news via Twitter, where he was asked by a fan if Williams will indeed be voicing the famous Batman villain. Despite portraying Harvey Dent, Williams never got the chance to step into the role of Two-Face in the Batman sequels that followed. The franchise would eventually change directions with Joel Schumacher at the helm, who recast Tommy Lee Jones as Dent/Two-Face for 1995's Batman Forever.

The LEGO Batman Movie will hit theaters February 20 and, along with Billy Dee Williams, will feature the voice talents of Will Arnett, Michael Cera, Ralph Fiennes, and Rosario Dawson. It's also been confirmed that Donald Glover will play the young Lando Calrissian, William's most iconic role, in the Han Solo spin-off movie. Alex Gilyadov is a freelance writer for IGN. You can follow him on Twitter. In the annals of comic book cinema, there have been three actors to play Harvey Dent in a Batman movie, but only two to portray Two-Face. Aaron Eckhart took on the role for The Dark Knight, while Tommy Lee Jones played a manic version of the character in 1995’s Batman Forever. But it was Billy Dee Williams who first embodied Dent in 1989’s original Batman. When director Tim Burton was replaced by Joel Schumacher after two Bat films, Jones was given the chance to flip the two-headed coin instead of Williams. Over 20 years later, that wrong is about to be righted. Asked by a fan on Twitter whether Williams would voice Two-Face in the upcoming The LEGO Batman Movie, director Chris McKay made every fan’s dream come true with a very succinct, “He does.”

— Chris McKay (@buddboetticher) November 30, 2016 Back in the ’90s, the plan was for Williams’ Dent to be used in the way Christopher Walken’s Max Shreck was in Batman Returns. Instead of frying at the end like Shreck did, Catwoman’s electric kiss would have burned half of Dent’s face, setting him up as the villain for Burton’s Batman 3. Obviously, this never actually transpired, but now Williams will finally get his oppurtunity to play a true Batman advisory. Due out February 10th, The LEGO Batman Movie also stars Will Arnett as the title character, Michael Cera as his trusty sidekick Robin, Rosario Dawson as police commissioner Barbara Gordon, Ralph Fiennes as Alfred, and Zach Galifianakis as the Joker. The plot is said to involve Joker rallying a number of Gotham’s villains together, so expect more voice casting announcements soon. Watch the latest trailer for the animated comedy below. The Batmobile and the Two-Face Chase (6864) is the third LEGO DC Universe Super Heroes set to be review by The Brick Fan.

This set retails for $49.99 and contains 531 pieces. This set has one of the better price to piece ratio especially for a licensed set at $0.09/piece. There are four numbered bags, two instruction booklets, and comic book #5. In this set, there are five minifigures in this set: Batman, Two-Face, two henchmen, and a security guard. Starting with Batman, he is has a black suit with a yellow utility belt. The Dark Knight has the same double-sided head as the one in the Catwoman Catcycle City Chase. One side has the content look and the other has the cocky smile. Both sides have the white bandana to act as the eyes when the cowl is over his head. His accessory is his trusty Batarang. Two-Face is dressed in a orange and purple suit. This color scheme is prominent throughout the set. He has black and white hair which is similar to the animated cartoon series. His accessory is his signature two-headed coin. Because the coin is just a stud, you only get one side of the coin. Two-Face’s henchmen have the same orange and purple color scheme clothing as their boss.

One of them drives the truck and one operates the hook on the back. Their accessories include a crowbar and a bundled stick of dynamite. The security guard is basically just a police officer. He also acts as the bank teller. His accessories includes a walkie-talkie and a pair of handcuffs. There are three parts to the build, the Batmobile, Two-Face’s truck, and the bank. Bags 1 and 2 are used to build the Batmobile, bag 3 for the truck, and bag 4 for the bank. The Batmobile is a very nice vehicle. The style is very reminiscent to the Batmobiles you normally see. There is a small Batman logo in the front which is just one of the three stickers on the vehicle. The hubcaps on the wheels are bright yellow which may or may not be that distracting. Personally, I like them because it gives the car a more Batman-y feeling. Towards the back, the car has the signature fins as well as flames shooting from the back. There are also two flick-fire missiles that shoot from the back. The cockpit area is pretty bland.

Batman can’t sit that straight in the driver seat because he’s a little too tall so he has to drive leaning back. Two-Face’s truck has the same color scheme as the minifigures and is basically a jeep with some modifications. The main modification that you see is the hook on the back. Other modifications include flick-fire missiles on the right of the truck and a gatling gun on the left. There are five stickers on the truck which was a pain. The bank is a fairly small structure with an open back. On the left side of the front side, you have a door that opens out and a “Bank” sign. To the right, you have windows with stickers that have dollar signs. On the top of the bank, you have some lights as well as some skylights. At the back of the bank, you get to play with the interior of the bank. The main thing you see is a green vault. Inside the vault are three money tiles. Next to that is a computer where the security guard/teller works. On the right side of the bank, there is a lever which blows out the windows so that Two-Face and his henchmen can steal the vault.
