The LEGO Batman Movie might as well tap the Gotham season 2 moniker, Rise of the Villains, because the gang’s all here in a new poster for the spin-off to The LEGO Movie. Joker, Harley Quinn, Riddler, Catwoman, Posion Ivy, Scarecrow, Two-Face, Bane, Penguin, Mr. Freeze, Clayface, Killer Croc, and a member of the Mutant Gang are all spotted in the new one-sheet (via iTunes Trailers) chasing after Will Arnett’s mini Caped Crusader.

Zach Galifianakis and Jenny Slate will voice Joker and Harley. Director Chris McKay also revealed Billy Dee Williams, who portrayed Harvey Dent in Tim Burton’s Batman, will voice the character’s villainous counterpart, Two-Face, in LEGO Batman. As you can see, Bats won’t be without his allies: Batgirl (Rosario Dawson), Robin (Michael Cera), and Alfred (Ralph Fiennes) have his back, while the Justice League rises in the distance. Channing Tatum, Cobie Smulders, and Jonah Hill voiced Superman, Wonder Woman, and Green Lantern in The LEGO Movie, but we’ll have to wait and see if they return for the spin-off. Here's a first look at the new @LEGOBatmanMovie sets! — LEGO (@LEGO_Group) November 30, 2016 The LEGO Batman Movie will open in theaters on Feb. 10. Before Ben Affleck makes his standalone film debut with The Batman, The Dark Knight of Gotham City is set to return to the big screen yet again with Warner Bros.’ The LEGO Batman Movie. A spinoff to the popular LEGO Movie, the film is set to focus entirely on Will Arnett’s self-parodying Bruce Wayne/Batman as he deals with the many criminals and allies he has scattered throughout his beloved city. To say that the studio is going all in on the meta, self-referential tone of the first LEGO Movie would be an understatement based on the film’s extremely humorous and dry marketing campaign so far. The film is just a few weeks away from being released, and as of late, the studio has been putting more and more attention on the other iconic characters fans can expect to see show up in the film. The latest pieces of merchandising for the film continue that recent trend as well, teasing the appearance of some of Batman’s most iconic and beloved foes.

Today, The LEGO Group has revealed four new LEGO toy sets that will be released in conjunction with the film. Titled “Scarecrow Fearful Face-off,” “Bane Toxic Truck Attack,” “Two-Face Double Demolition,” and “The Batwing,” the new sets feature appearances from Scarecrow, Bane, and Two-Face. Take a look for yourself below: These four villains are just some of the many, many characters from the Batman comics that are set to make an appearance/play a role in the film. Other notable characters include Harley Quinn (Jenny Slate), The Joker (Zach Galifianakis), Batgirl (Rosario Dawson), and more. Directed by Chris McKay (who worked on the first LEGO Movie), the film quite simply promises to be one of the most ambitious and enthusiastic deep dives into Batman’s world that has ever been attempted onscreen. However, one of the biggest hurdles that the film is facing is whether or not it’ll be able to live up to the acclaim of the first LEGO Movie. Released in 2014, it was one of the most critically-acclaimed films of the year (with a sequel already in development), and sparked a newfound interest and love for the LEGO brand around the world.

But Arnett’s Batman was just one of the supporting characters of the film, and while he was a scene-stealer in his own way, many fans have wondered if he’ll be able to carry a movie of his own. Fortunately, it looks like the film will actually be a full-fledged Batman film in its own right, and not just a feature-length joke about the seriousness of the character. So if it can manage to capture that same love and sense of adventure that every standalone Batman film should, then it’ll hopefully be able to live on its own merits, rather than just trying to keep the momentum of its LEGO Movie predecessor going. Source: The LEGO Group The LEGO Batman Movie release date: Feb 10, 2017Earlier today, LEGO has published official images of two The LEGO Batman Movie sets which are The Batmobile (70905) and The Joker Notorious Lowrider (70906). We’ll see the two sets being displayed at San Diego Comic Con this weekend. Below is a little description of the two sets. The Batmobile (70905) has 581 pieces and it includes minifigures of Batman, Robin, Man-Bat, and the Kabuki Twins.
