The group will be among more than 60 exhibitors at the event, including the UK’s only LEGO certified professionals, Brick Bricks. Some of LEGO’s own set designers will also be there to reveal what it takes to get a model on to toy shop shelves. There will be thousands of bricks for visitors to get busy building with, as well as stalls selling the latest LEGO sets, classics from the past, individual parts and custom minifigures to take home.
The event, on July 2 and 3, is held in aid of children’s charity Fairy Bricks, which donates LEGO to poorly young patients in hospital. Last year it delivered more than £2,000 worth of sets to Manchester Children’s Hospital and recently completed its 100th donation in Nottingham. All the profits from the show will be used to fund more LEGO donations. Northern Brickworks will also be exhibiting at Lymm Historic Transport Day on June 26.
