We arrived in Stanthorpe, the coolest region in the state, and found work picking tomatoes at one of the local farms for a couple of weeks.
During our time there we attended the annual Apple & Grape Harvest Festival and spent a day at Girraween National Park. After 3 months on the Gold Coast, we finally left at the end of February 2014. Craig treated Lindsey to a surprise birthday trip to the Springbrook National Park in January 2014. He had booked a rainforest retreat with a luxury cabin! Loving life on the Gold Coast! There were lots of festive activities taking place and we enjoyed our first Christmas Day on the beach! We put job hunting to one side for a while and treated ourselves to an unlimited pass to a few of the amazing theme parks on the Gold Coast – Sea World, Warner Bros. Movie World and Wet ‘n’ Wild. We decided to stop in Surfers Paradise again – the land of surf, sea, sun and sand!
