How much would you weigh on the moon? Which Indiana Jones movie made the most money? How do you pronounce AT-AT? What does the license plate on Doc Brown’s DeLorean say? If you can answer these questions, we want to enlist YOU in the Atomic Trivia War 9000, the podcast quiz show with geek cred. The war isn’t waged with bullets and tanks, but with facts and figures, pop culture references, and a big dose of nerdiness. Join Jason, Omar, Rochelle, and Kevin as they do battle for points and honor. This isn’t a mild seismic activity quiz challenge. This is the Atomic Trivia War 9000! Ah, yes -- the adaptation of a favorite 17th century French political adventure novel, in which kung-fu fighting swordsmen confront a lady ninja and have airship battles. Sounds like Alexandre Dumas (in 3D). They both came out this weekend, but we couldn't have chosen two movies on further ends of the spectrum to review than LEGO BATMAN and JOHN WICK 2. One is full of tummy tum tum wholesome laughs and GOB Bluth's voice.

The other is a murder-fest spanning from Italy to New York. Was Flight of the Navigator before or after Big Trouble in Little China? Did Meet Joe Black come before or after The Matrix? Test your skills in the Movie Time Machine, then beat our contestants in a numbers game! to have them included on a future LISTENER QUESTIONS show! Also, Omar and Kevin are bad and should feel bad for failing to do their homework this week. We check in with Ro for her semi-annual PAX report, put the contestants to the quiz, and talk about the geeky stuff in our lives! When special guest Jeff Ferry comes along, he and the gang (minus Ro) handle all kinds of trivia, from comic books to movies to gasp sports-ing! Catch Jeff on his own podcast, The Burbs Minute, which can be found on iTunes. Are there cannibals living next door? Podcaster extraordinaire Richard Smith joins us to explore the basement of his favorite movie -- The 'Burbs, starring a young, neurotic Tom Hanks! This one reveals some surprising defectors in the ranks as Jason and Rich try to preach the gospel of suburban black comedy while pealing back the layers of social commentary.

RIP PRINCESS LEIA, WE MISS YOU. We recorded something new, but two of us were sick and medicated out of our minds. So to sate your lust for trivia, here is a throwback to 2011, featuring our good buddy Andrew. We start of the new year with an extra-long episode packed with 1) trivia, 2) Carrie Fisher talk, 3) our predictions for horrible things that could destroy the Earth this calendar year, and 4) death pool lists! Welcome to the beginning of the end of the human race. 2016 was full of crappy news (this was recorded before Carrie Fisher's heart attack and subsequent death). We do some Bad News Trivia, then break down our favorite movies, TV shows, and geeky experiences of the year. It’s an all new episode of the Movie Trivia Schmoedown! This week, YouTube film critic Chris Stuckmann makes his Schmoedown debut facing off against one of The Partiots, Jeff Sneider. Each competitor gets six questions with each question worth one point. The competitor will answer the question in as little time as possible before getting a 5 second countdown.

If the competitor doesn’t get the answer right, no points will be awarded and the other competitor will not be able to steal the answer. Each competitor gets four questions with each question weighted two points. Multiple choice is available but the answer will reduce the value to one point. If a competitor makes an incorrect guess their opponent may steal the question if they know the answer. If no multiple choice is offered, the opponent will not be able to utilize multiple choice. The opponent will be awarded two points if they steal and answer without multiple choice and one point if they steal and answer the multiple choice. Each competitor will get three questions from a random selection of categories. Question number one is weighted 1 point. Question number two is worth 3 points. Question number three is worth 5 points. In the event of a sudden death, a random question will be asked and the first competitor to answer correctly wins the Schmoedown. If the competitor answers incorrectly, they lose the Schmoedown.
