Effect: When equipped, it will summon a shadowy character to help you fight. The Schematic for the Shadow Blade can be found near Weathertop. From the Weathertop statue, look for the large silver door in the rock wall nearby. Follow the hidden arrow minigame. When finished, get the key from the dig spot, and unlock the door. Once inside, shoot the targets in the water to raise platforms, then go across the water. Make the requested emerald, sapphire, and ruby loot donations to the three statues, and the schematic will be revealed. If you are short on loot, there are mineable rocks across the water. The Blade is part of the Dual Wielding side quest, which rewards the "Studs X4" Red Brick. - 2 years 8 months ago Dual Wielding is a Side Quest which rewards the "Studs X4" Red Brick upon completion. This quest may only be available at night. From the High Pass statue, go to the right, then up the Lego mountain, then down the right side of it to a short ledge. Use Dori to grab the Lego hook and swing across to the cave opening on the other side. Go inside, then go to the left to find the narrow passageway going up. Follow that up to the quest giver, who will ask for the Mithril Shadow Blade. The Mithril Shadow Blade Schematic can be found near Weathertop. The key can be found in a dig spot to the right. Make loot donations to the three statues. Forge the Shadow Blade at the Blacksmith's Shop in Bree and return it to the quest giver to receive the Red Brick reward. You must find a character that is willing to give you a red brick in exchange for a Mithril item. To get their requested item you will need to locate the Blacksmith Design and then craft the item at the Blacksmiths workshop in Bree.
Once you have crafted the item you can return and exchange it for a brick. Once a brick has been bought you can then turn it on by accessing the Extras menu.
