It got its father-and-son professional lego builder team of Dan and Christopher Steininger to construct the 4.8-by-3.6 metre model with 250,000 bricks, across 50 hours over the weekend. SEE ALSO: This Lego bust of Shakespeare's head was made using more than 3,000 bricks The two had built a smaller model of the legendary Corellian YT-1300 — better known as the Millennium Falcon flown by Han Solo and Chewbacca — last year in Melbourne. There are only 40 professionals in the world bestowed with the "Master Builder" title by Lego. The son, Christopher Steininger, tells Mashable the process of building a large Lego structure starts with a 3D model mocked up in Autodesk Maya that gets processed by Lego's Brick Builder program so the builders have a plan of how many and what type of plastic bricks to use.
