How to find missing Minikits?: In-game the Minikits will appear simply as a “Lego Mini Kit”, which looks like a white & silver scubadiving air bottle with bright red and green lights on the right and left side of it. It can be confirmed as being Minikits simply by walking into to it, as the on-screen counter will then tell you that you’ve collected another Minikit. Minikits Detector Cheat: Having difficulty locating a specific Minikit? Turn on a handy white on-screen arrow to point you in the right direction! – Go and buy the “Collectible Detector” Red Brick first. It’s already unlocked automatically from the start, you can buy it for 500,000 studs, since there is no cheat code to get it faster. It’ll make it a lot easier to find all the remaining Minikits when they are being pointed out to you. Collecting Tip: You can select Free Play to replay Story Missions, which allows you to use all characters you have unlocked.
So after beating the game, first try to have as many characters unlocked (with all the special abilities needed) before you go for many of these Minikits. — The visual guides show the characters needed to find all 10 Minikits in each level.
