LEGO® 75126 from 2016 LEGO® 75127 from 2016 LEGO® 75128 from 2016 Jump to page 1Thanks to our man on the ground, Dan Rubin, we have the juicy details about a ton of new sets revealed by LEGO at the 2016 Toy Fair being held in New York today. In addition to the complete details about 75098 Assault on Hoth posted earlier today, we’ll be bringing you information on new sets in various LEGO themes over the course of the weekend. But let’s get started with the theme you all really wanna see: STAR WARS! As well as the new battle packs and microfighters that we reviewed in detail last month, there are new sets spanning the original trilogy, prequel trilogy and Rebels animated series. We also got a close-up look at a couple of sets from the brand new Disney XD animated series LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures, which follows the exploits of a bunch of scavengers called the Freemakers, and is set in an era between Empire and Jedi. 75145 Eclipse Fighter (363 pieces at $29.99)

75147 StarScavenger (558 pieces at $49.99) The final minifigs were not ready for some of the sets, and were substituted for creepy white stand-ins. But that didn’t spoil our enjoyment of sets like the 75151 Clone Turbo Tank, which uses a bunch of Technic mechanisms to create lots of moving parts, such as articulated wheels: You can watch a demo of the Clone Turbo Tank in action in a video we shot this morning here: The 75150 A-Wing also has some interesting play features: You can see 75157 Captain Rex’s AT-TE Walker from Star Wars Rebels in action in this demo video: The Force Awakens was well represented, with the much anticipated “luggabeast” from 75148 Encounter on Jakku on display, as well as Poe Dameron’s sporty 75149 Resistance X-wing Fighter. This year’s Star Wars Advent Calendar also made an appearance (missing figs notwithstanding) including a cute little Trooper snow man. I guess those Hoth rebel soldiers got bored waiting around for the Empire to find them!

LEGO has announced that it will be unleashing eight new building sets, including three of those uber-cool buildable figures, and that they are set to hit store shelves in less than a month, on Sept. 30. So, if you’re a huge LEGO fan, or if you’re just a fan of those little movies set in a galaxy far, far away -- or both, I’m pretty sure these new sets will be a must-own for you guys, especially since owning a life-size TIE Striker, U-Wing or AT-ST Walker is pretty much a pipe dream. Here’s the official description for each new LEGO Star Wars set: 75119 - Sergeant Jyn Erso This tough Rebel soldier has everything she needs to take on the Empire. Build the figure, load the blaster rifle, put her in a battle pose and fire the spring-loaded shooter! Then grab the truncheons and turn the wheel to activate the arm-swinging battle function. Jyn Erso is ready to bring the battle to the Empire! Once an Imperial security droid, K-2SO is now ready to fight for the Rebel Alliance.

Build the droid, then push the button to the side to swing each arm or push it straight to swing both at the same time! The powerful K-2SO has the strength and skill to take on the Empire! 75121 - Imperial Death Trooper Elite soldiers of the Imperial Intelligence, Death Troopers are the Empire’s most imposing enforcers and bodyguards! Build the trooper, grab the blaster pistol from the holster or fire the blaster rifle with spring-loaded shooter. Then put him in a battle pose and get ready to defend the Empire! 75152 - Imperial Assault Hovertank Help Chirrut battle the Imperial Assault Hovertank as it patrols the streets. This tough urban patrol vehicle has a two-minifigure cockpit and a rotating and elevating turret gun with spring-loaded shooters to target enemies of the Empire. And if the rebel forces hide out of sight, open the storage container, grab the blasters and play out your own mini urban battles! Go on the hunt for Baze and the Rebel Trooper aboard the All Terrain Scout Transport.

Open the top hatch, load up the AT-ST Driver and move the legs to speed into action. When you’ve tracked them down, turn the wheel to rotate the top and prepare to fire the spring-loaded shooters! Can Baze and the trooper escape the advancing AT-ST? That's for you to decide... Prepare for launch with the amazing TIE Striker, the Empire’s atmospheric patrol fighter! Open the minifigure cockpit from the top or front and put in the TIE Pilot. Help the Imperial ground crew member put supplies in the rear hold and arm the spring-loaded shooters. Then adjust the huge wings and launch into the skies in search of rebels! 75155 - Rebel U-Wing Fighter Open the cockpit and place the U-Wing Pilot in his seat. Fire up the engines and launch into the sky. Keep a lookout below with the transparent window, and when you spot the enemy, fire the front spring-loaded shooters and stud shooters mounted in the side doors. You can even fold the wings back for a bigger model! 75156 - Krennic's Imperial Shuttle
