The new wave will consist of 16 LEGO sets, featuring vehicles from all corners and time periods of the Star Wars universe and some newly redesigned Stormtroopers, Shadow Troopers, Tusken Raiders, Wookies, the Star Wars: Rebels Inquisitor, and more! One thing that these images prove is that the only products related to Rebels actually have Rebels labels on them, as some speculated that the Shadow Guard set might tie in with the show. It appears as though the Shadow Guard’s appearance in these sets will remain a mystery until an official project featuring them is announced. “My son was inspired by the latest episode of “The Realm Recap“. He has started painting (or should it be called re-painting?) Star Wars Command figures. He started with the Ewoks. The attached picture shows the painted Command Ewoks and the Hasbro/Lego Ewoks that inspired the design.” “We’ve always said a Star Wars license should something like this!”I think the Command line is a perfect “starter pack” for people that are interested in customizing but don’t want to tackle painting a more expensive action figure quite yet. Some Target stores are beginning to put out new Rebels product in advance of official store resets. Today I came across some new Lego sets and some of the new Star Wars Command line. If you have a Target store in your area it may be worth your while to swing by and see what you come across, but remember your success rate will likely vary as today I was turned down by a store to get me a new Black Series Deluxe Jabba, even though the store had them in the back (which I think many of us have had similar experiences in the past with that).

As usual, LEGO will be offering an for sale at their booth for $39.99. With 177 pieces, the set is a nice micro representation of everything there’s to see on Dagobah, although a Dragonsnake doesn’t seem to be included. The micro X-wing is identical to the 2011 advent calendar one, and Artoo doesn’t seem to be different from the one from Anakin’s starfighter. All in all, it’s a pretty sweet set, and a perfect fit with the micro Tatooine build from Star Wars Celebration. I wonder, if the exclusive builds introduced the microfighters line, we’ll ever see similar sets in stores…
