The Iowa caucus kicks off this year’s quest for presidential nominations, and later on Monday we’ll find out the winners of this first round of voting. Microsoft’s Bing already has a forecast for the Iowa caucus winners, and it’ll be interesting to see whether it can accurately predict the results of this year’s elections, primaries included. Watch as your favorite librarians serenade you with iambic pentameter as they perform a Star Wars Shakespeare Readers’ Theater. 12-2:00 pm, while supplies last Need a quick “pick-me-up?” Stop by the Admiral Ackbar Snackbar for a themed snack and little break from the excitement. “The Force Awakens” Movie Ticket Raffle 12:00 pm and 2:45 pm Win a family four pack of tickets (2 kids and 2 adults) to see the new Star Wars Fairfield Cinemas at Bullard Square on Thursday, 12/17 at 7:30 pm. Photo Booth & Green Screen Pose and preen with your favorite characters and bring home a photo booth picture with a Star Wars background!




Work together with other Jedis and Siths to create and build a lego home for the Ewoks. Design and build a Pod Racer with the materials provided, then race yours against a friend’s to see whose racer is fastest! Make Your Own Lightsaber Create your own lightsaber out of cardboard, paper and imagination. Yoda, Make, You Will Create a picture of Yoda using circles, rectangles and triangles! Wookiee Life Day Ornament Create an adorable foam ornament perfect for holiday decoration! Wookiee Life Day Orbs Create a Mod-Podge ball ornament. For ages 11+ or with parental supervision. 10:00 am – 3:00 pm Choose a character and create an enclosed environment for him/her to live in with the help of Nancy Gardiner. These fun and interactive LEGO kits allow students to create and upload LEGO scenes and then develop stories! These kits will be available for use after Star Wars day–just ask at the Children’s Desk!
