LEGO Star Wars: The Visual Dictionary is a 2009 hardback book written by Simon Beecroft and published by DK. It celebrates ten years of Lego Star Wars and came with an exclusive Luke Skywalker minifigure.




The book opens with a timeline of every single LEGO Star Wars set released from 1999 to 2009. The first chapter looks at different sets and minifigures based around different characters, events or locations in the Star Wars movie saga. The second chapter looks at the sets based on the Cartoon Network animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. All the LEGO Technic, Ultimate Collector Series, and polybag/mini build sets based on the Star Wars films and the Clone Wars are shown in detail in this chapter. The final chapter features an interview with the LEGO Star Wars design team as well as a look at different merchandise based on the theme and fan builds. The book came with an Exclusive 'Celebration Luke' minifigure based on his appearance in the closing scene of Star Wars Episode IV. In the first films released in theatres, that you may have seen, the story follows the adventures of Luke Skywalker, a young man living first in a deserted place, and will be leaded after many adventures to meet Master Yoda, one of the most famous characters in the series, mostly known by his way of talking, putting in every sentence a verb at the end, which gives him a particularly enigmatic air. little green guy with huge ears is one of the most renowned Jedi Masters, and despite his small size he's capable of great feats. There is also of course Obi-Wan Kenobi, the second mentor who's particularly charismatic as well as a




great warrior, the famous Chewbacca, Wookiee giant whose body has the distinction of being terribly hairy and speaking only by kinds of grunts, and of course Han Solo, the smuggler played by Harrison Ford, all of them will help Luke to fight against a frightening enemy, Darth Vader.
