I do have to give a huge pat on the back to Jill for thinking up so many awesome and fabulous party food ideas that there is no doubt kids will absolutely love! Jill from Kitchen Fun With My 3 Sons put on a fabulous Star Wars themed party for her son. See below the fabulous ideas she's shared for everyone to use at their own parties! Thanks to Jill.This is a Storm Trooper cheese ball. Two packages of cream cheese One packet of ranch dressing mix Two cups of Monterey Jack shredded cheese Black olives to make the helmet Jill made sweet and salty sabers with large pretzel sticks and Fruit Roll-Ups. She said the kids loved them! Just wrap up the pretzel stick with the Roll-Up leaving some of the pretzel sticking out at the bottom.
Jill made this easy Yodamole (guacamole) by shaping/molding his head and ears with the guacamole. Make a nose with it as well. She made his eyes with sour cream and black olives. Jill used scooper chips so she could label it as Yodamole and Trooper Scoopers!Jill made these Storm Troopops using jumbo marshmallows, large marshmallows, black edible marker, and long lollipop sticks. Make a hole in the bottom of the jumbo marshmallow and stuff a large marshmallow inside to make it flare out a bit. Draw on the Trooper face with the black edible marker and put it on a stick. Jill says this was definitely the favorite for the kids at the party and so easy to make!Make cupcakes and set them aside to cool. Add just a little flesh color to vanilla frosting. Frost the cupcakes and add your candies for the eyes and mouth. You could either pipe on the lips or just use hearts. Pipe on chocolate frosting for the hair. Put Tootsie Rolls in the microwave for eight minutes and roll them into a strip.
Then roll that strip into a spiral for Leia hair buns.For these adorable Chewbacca Cookies, Jill used Little Debbie Star Crunch cookies, cookie frosting, mini chocolate chips, edible eyeballs, and mini heart candies. She decided to use the Star Crunch cookies because the crispy rice in the cookie would look like hair and the fact that they are chewy!. Jill changed the shape of the cookies from a round shape into more of a square. She added chocolate cookie frosting for the mouth and as the glue to attach their edible eyes. She piped more frosting over the top of the eyes. She then attached mini chocolate chips for the noses. 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1 cup unsalted butter (room temp) 1 cup packed brown sugar 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract 1 cup milk chocolate chips 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips Ask an adult to pre-heat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Put the flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon in a mixing bowl. Stir with the wooden spoon until well mixed. Put the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a bowl and mix until creamy with the wooden spoon. Mix in the eggs and vanilla extract. Add the flour mixture and stir until blended. Stir in the chocolate chips. Scoop up a rounded tablespoon full of dough and drop onto a baking sheet. Repeat until you have used up all the dough. Be sure to leave about 1 inch between the cookies because they spread as they bake. Using pot holders, have an adult put the baking sheets in the oven. Bake until golden brown, about 10 minutes.
