The New York Toy Fair happened this weekend. Many upcoming Summer 2017 LEGO Sets have been revealed. First up, we’ll look at LEGO Star Wars which models from the original LEGO Star Wars Movies, The Force Awakens, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, The Freemake Adventures TV Series and Star Wars Rebel TV Series. These sets will be available beginning June 1, 2017. Special thanks to Brothers Brick and FBTB for the pictures and coverage. LEGO Star Wars 75178 Jekku Quadjumper ($49.99) LEGO Star Wars 75180 Rathtar Escape ($79.99 – 836 pieces) 2017 LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar 75184 LEGO Star Wars 75182 Republic Fighter Tank ($24.99 – 305 pieces) This Republic Fighter Tank is a lot smaller than the 582 pieces 2008 version one (7679 Republic Fighter Tank). However, you do get Aayla Secura which is quite a good minifigure. LEGO Star Wars 75183 Darth Vader Transformation ($24.99 – 282 pieces) Similar to the Republic Fighter Tank, this is a re-release of the 2005 version of 7251 Darth Vader Transformation.

Its great that LEGO is releasing this set again as the old Darth Vader Transformation set is quite hard to obtain now. In this set, you get a couple of nice minfigures including Emperor Palpatine, Darth Vader and Anakin Skywalker. LEGO Star Wars 75168 Yoda’s Jedi Starfighter ($24.99 – 262 pieces) LEGO Star Wars 75166 First Order Transport Speeder Battle Pack LEGO Star Wars 75167 Bounty Hunter Battle Pack LEGO Star Wars Freemaker Adventures TV Series 75816 The Arrowhead ($89.99 – 775 pieces) LEGO Star Wars TV Series 75185 Tracker 1 ($69.99 – 557 pieces) 75532 Scout Trooper and Speeder Bike ($59.99 – 452 pieces)Over the weekend, we had the awesome opportunity to head to New York City and visit Toy Fair 2017! We had an amazing time looking at toys, playing with toys, and taking pictures of toys. (There were a lot of toys.) Check out some of our favorite awesome, adorable, and super cool Disney, Disney•Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars toys from Toy Fair!

1. These Beauty and the Beast Figures from Hasbro are truly adorable! Lumiere, Cogsworth, Mrs. Potts, Chip, and Plumette are truly perfection. 2. These otherworldly adorable Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 Pint Size Heroes from Funko are way too cute. Of course, we’re a sucker for anything that involves Baby Groot, but even Drax is adorable in pint-size form! 3. Not only is this Beauty and the Beast Enchanted Rose Jewelry Box from Jakks Pacific useful, but it’s incredibly stylish and cool as well! It comes with a ring and has room for more jewelry. Also, the rose glows and blooms, and the case plays songs from the movie when it opens! 4. These Star Wars 40th Anniversary Action Figures from Hasbro were some of the coolest things we saw at Toy Fair. They pay homage to the original line of action figures from 1977, right down to the lineup and the original Kenner Toys packaging. These are sure to be must-have collector’s items for any Star Wars fan. 5. Is it possible to be cuter than these Disney and Disney•Pixar Kawaii Cubes from Wish Holdings?

We’re in love and absolutely need every single one of them. 6. This Rapunzel Journal from Jakks Pacific and inspired by Tangled: The Series is pretty much perfect. The art style is just like Rapunzel’s drawings, and the bookmark looks like her hair! 7. These Disney and Disney•Pixar Pint Size Heroes from Funko are what dreams are made of. We have to assume, because they’re a dream come true. 8. We absolutely adore this Rapunzel and Maximus Doll Set from Hasbro inspired by Tangled: The Series. Finally, we can brush her hair! 9. Yo-ho, yo-ho an adorable LEGO life for these Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales LEGO Brick Headz! Captain Jack Sparrow and Captain Salazar have (definitely) never been cuter! 10. How great are these Disney Hand Puppets from Folkmanis? Featuring classic Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, and Donald Duck, these puppets are sure to be a hit. 11. This toy is truly magic! Dance Code Belle from Hasbro connects to mobile devices via an app and allows you to program custom dance moves!

12. You’re going to flip for this: Dancing Baby Groot from Hasbro!! Yes, they really are that cute in-person. Groot will not only dance to songs programmed into the toy, but will also dance to any song you play! We need several, please. 13. The Little Mermaid Playset from LEGO lets you build Ariel’s undersea kingdom for endless fun. Come for the awesome underwater bricks, stay for the Flounder mini-figure. 14. Make way, make way for this Ceremonial Dress Moana Doll from Hasbro! This elegant doll features Moana’s awesome ceremonial wear and lets you recreate some of the movie’s best moments. 15. New, and not at all alarming, are these Beauty and the Beast Pop! and Dorbz Figures from Funko. Once again, we really, really need all of them. 16. Another set you’ll want every one of: these Disney Princess Dress-Up Figures from Hasbro. 17. We couldn’t have a Toy Fair recap without Tsum Tsum! Our favorite of Jakks Pacific’s many Tsum Tsum toys is this Tsum Tsum “The Palace of Agrabah” set inspired by Aladdin.

18. You’ll never want to let this toy go! This Let it Snow Elsa Playset from Hasbro inspired by Frozen is officially the coolest (pun intended). Put ice cubes in the top, crank the handle, and snow falls on Elsa, changing her dress color! Which of these Disney toys from Toy Fair 2017 was your favorite? Tell us in the comments!Remember that awesome scene in the first hour of Star Wars The Force Awakens where Finn and Rey are running toward a Quadjumper on Jakku, but it gets blown up and they’re forced to escape in the “garbage” Millennium Falcon instead? This summer, we’ll all get the chance to rewrite history and give that ship its moment in the sun: the LEGO Star Wars Jakku Quadjumper 75178 is part of the LEGO Star Wars Summer 2017 sets wave! Having already hit on most of the most common environments from the Minecraft game in the last few years, TLG is prepared to dig deep this year to give us something from the beloved franchise we haven’t seen yet in brick form.

And by “deep”, I mean from the “Deep Ocean” biome! Debuting at last weekend’s New York Toy Fair 2017 and coming our way this summer, it’s the LEGO Minecraft Ocean Monument 21136 set! For the last few years, the LEGO Friends theme has stated getting the sort of slice-of-life scenes as sets that make City fans green with envy. And that proud tradition continued at New York Toy Fair 2017 last weekend, where TLG debuted a very unique set that I know even many non-Friends collectors are going to be giving a serious look: the LEGO Friends Snow Resort Ski Life 41324 set! I kicked off my Toy Fair 2017 LEGO Star Wars coverage with my discussion of the Rathtar Attack set on Star Wars Toy News–and now, let’s look at a new set here! Way back in 2005, TLG released a little set called Darth Vader Transformation 7251 depicting the legendary scene from Star Wars Revenge of the Sith where Anakin Skywalker is reconstructed as Darth Vader. That simplistic set was badly in need of an upgrade–and this year, it will get it!

LEGO Star Wars Darth Vader Transformation 75183 is one of the Summer 2017 sets! As some of you likely noticed, this site crashed for about half the weekend under the highest server strain I’ve ever had across my sites. So I do apologize for the delay in my New York Toy Fair 2017 LEGO coverage. Earlier today I kicked off LEGO Summer 2017 sets coverage on Marvel Toy News with the first of the two newly-revealed LEGO Spider-Man Homecoming sets, and now let’s take a look at the other one here: the LEGO Beware The Vulture 76083 set! I’m in the floor at the 2017 New York Toy Fair right now checking out all of this spring and summer’s biggest toys, but I wanted to stop and post photos from what I imagine is going to be among the most popular LEGO releases of the entire year: 71018 LEGO Minifigures Series 17! The rumors are true: Corn on the Cob Man is real, as are Rocket Ship Kid, … Just as I was literally packing my bags this morning for New York Toy Fair 2017 (which I’ll be on-hand for Saturday and posting thousands of photos from over the next few weeks), TLG went and hit me up with a little surprise–that’s going to cost many of us a lot of money!

Though they’ve long been rumored for a March 1st 2017 release date, it turns out that all of the Winter 2017 LEGO Marvel sets are now up for order and shipping tomorrow–including the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 sets, the Coulson & Lola set and more! The day AFOLs have been waiting for ever since The LEGO Movie hit theaters back in 2014 is finally here: after three years plus, The LEGO Batman Movie is now in theaters! And to celebrate, not only has the LEGO Store started its free Disco Batman & Clown Batman minifigures promo, but the final 2017 Batman Movie set has finally been revealed: the 70917 LEGO Ultimate Batmobile! My apologies for the lack of updates lately, but it’s been a slow start to the year for LEGO news. That said, things are about to get really busy, as I’m now gearing up for the largest number of reveals of the year from TLG at New York Toy Fair 2017 next week! But before I pack my bags and head out to NYC, let’s look past that event and into next month with the March 2017 LEGO Store Calendar!
