With Force Awakens behind us, it’s time to gear up for the first of the “spin-off” movies from a Galaxy Far, Far, Away. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story chronicles the band of Rebels responsible for securing the plans for the first Death Star. Little else is known about the film, but the Nuremberg Toy Fair may have given us insight into one of the Original Trilogy characters that may be appearing and/or somehow connected to the crew. Check out the picture below tweeted by Studshooter: More #LEGO #StarWars Reveals from Nuremberg! #RogueOne & a Droid Tales-esque series titled The Freemaker Adventures. The picture teases upcoming LEGO sets from the classic line as well as Star Wars: Rebels. But the biggest surprise comes when you look at the picture labeled Rogue One: that’s Slave I, Boba Fett’s ship! When you think about it, there are very few unique ships in the Star Wars universe. Other than your T.I.E. Fighters and Wing-class Rebellion fighters, the only other ships are the Millenium Falcon and Slave I.

Which means the chances we will see/hear more about the popular bounty hunter are pretty good. So if he’s in the movie, what role will he play? Will he be paid by the Empire to stop the Rebels? Will he help them in their quest? Remember, he’s a bounty hunter—his moral compass doesn’t exactly point in the same direction all the time. Does he have a link to any of the other characters? We’ve already discussed Mads Mikkelson’s possible character name of Galen, and how he could be the father of Felicity Jones‘ character. Given the fact that Boba’s ship has been passed down in his family for generations, the possibility that he is her father could make for the perfect connection between Rogue One and the larger Star Wars universe. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, also starring Diego Luna and directed by Gareth Edwards, opens in theaters December 16th, 2016. So what do you think? Are you excited for the possibility of more Boba Fett? Who would win in a fight? Boba Fett or TR-8R?

Next Story → A leg up on some information on Forest Whitaker in Rogue One: A Star Wars StoryI think most of us can agree that Star Wars: The Force Awakens was a success with the fans and the box office. The massive hype has moved on to other big blockbusters such as Deadpool, Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice and Captain America: Civil War at the moment, but let us not forget that the next Star Wars film, Star Wars: Rogue One, is being released in December. There will be a new Star Wars film every year and we should expect December to become the month where new Star Wars movies are being released. Quite frankly, I think this this could make Christmas an even better time of the year!

Rogue One is the first ever anthology film or 'A Star Wars Story'. These are single films focusing on a certain character or time period along the Star Wars timeline. Rogue One will be focusing on the rebels who stole the plans for the Death Star. The movie will take place about one year before the original 1977 Star Wars: A New Hope. Rogue One Costumes at the Nuremberg Toy Fair A few days ago, we got to see a glimpse at the Rogue One costumes, such as displayed above, at the Nuremberg Toy Fair in Germany. Now, at the fair, there is a promotional image advertising all of the new LEGO Star Wars sets, ranging from the Force Awakens, Rebels, Classic, and even Rogue One. See the image below and you will see that the new LEGO sets weren't the only things that were revealed: The image for Rogue One shows what appears to be the ship of bounty hunter Boba Fett: Slave 1, a modified prototype Firespray-31-class patrol and attack craft that was previously owned by his father, Jango Fett.

This promotional picture might have just revealed that the big baddy for Rogue One is Boba Fett. Boba Fett was rumored to have his own anthology film after Rogue One and the one with young Han Solo. If so, it looks like they are really focusing on expanding upon the mystery of Boba Fett. It makes sense for him to be the villain of Rogue One as he would be hired by Vader to hunt down the rebels. It could be him and his team of bounty hunters, maybe including Bossk, IG-88, Dengar, and maybe even Cad Bane?
