Found a bad link? Help us by reporting itIn 2005 Traveler's Tales brought us a game based on the prequels of Star Wars (Episodes I, II, and III) in which every detail was depicted in a Lego style, with that particular sense of humor that only these toys can offer. One year later, Lego Star Wars II appeared, also with great success. Finally, in 2007 a game was released including all six episodes of the saga, which was expected to be no more than a compilation of both previous games. Fortunately, that was not the case. You start at the Mos Eisley canteen; here you choose where to go and what game mode to play. At first, only Episode I is available, while the other Episodes need to be unlocked in some way, such as completing missions. In fact, after achieving your first mission in Episode I, all other episodes are unlocked, so now you can skip to your favorite one. In each mission, you basically have to recreate what is seen in the movies, with some minor modifications in order to have more action and playable moments, but it is not too forced, contrary to what we see in most video games that are adapted from movies.

At any time there are at least two characters available to play with - in the beginning, they are Qui-Gon Jin and Obi-Wan Kenobi, and with them you will learn the movements using the tutorial. As you advance in the game, you will find new characters, such as TC-14, R2-D2, and more. Sometimes you must take control of specific characters, as some can jump higher or open peculiar doors, and only by using the right one you will be allowed to continue. In each scenario you will find Lego pieces - if you can gather all of them, you will unlock the content that will make you progress. There are always plenty of studs to collect, which is money to buy unlockable characters and some items. In many cases, you do not get all you want at first, because you need special characters with special skills that will join your party later, so you have hours and hours of replay. About fun and jokes, you will always find, in every mission, quite a few of them, which will set smiles on you and will even make you laugh.

In addition, if you play with someone else, you will have twice the fun, since there is nothing like playing with your friends. If you like the movies, you will surely like Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga, even though you will recognize everything, you will see them in a new and humorous style, and not always predictable - you will see how Star Wars becomes part of Legoland. 'LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Hits the App Store Alongside Console and PC Versions Warner Bros. has been great about publishing the many LEGO video games on iOS, whether that be in a pared down version of the PC and console counterparts or in a more tailored for mobile/handheld fashion. Today they're continuing this trend but taking it up a notch, as today is the day that LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens [Free] is scheduled to arrive on PC and consoles, but an iOS version has launched right alongside it day and date.

While this is a case of the game not quite being the same open-world version as its bigger console and PC counterpart, the iOS version does feature the new Multi-Build mechanic that lets you build a variety of items from those piles of LEGO you'll find, enhanced flight sequences, and cover-based Blaster Battles. You'll also get to play through story missions that flesh out the main storyline of The Force Awakens film. LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens is free to download and try out the first level, assuming you have a gig or so of free space available, with new content available through separate in-app purchases or a Season Pass, and it sounds like there's plans to keep new content rolling out for quite some time. Check it out and be sure to stop by the game's forum thread with your own impressions. LEGO® Star Wars™: TFA 1.17.4 LEGO® Star Wars™: TFA 1.07.4'Lego Star Wars' Fills In Missing Part of Oscar Isaac's 'Force Awakens' Storyline Fans clamoring for more of Oscar Isaac's X-wing pilot from last year's revival of the Star Wars franchise need look no further than the latest DLC for Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which reveals the previously untold story of just how Poe Dameron went from crash-landing with Finn to showing up to save the day on Takodana.

The Poe's Quest for Survival level pack lets the player find a ship to take him off the desert planet of Jakku, and features a number of playable characters besides the Resistance's favorite hotshot pilot, including Naka Iit, Ohn Gos, and both a Strus Clan leader and a Strus Clan raider. (Those who love the Strus Clan — a group of thieves that operates on Jakku — will also be pleased to know that there's two Strus Clan vehicles to be used in the game as well.) The new trailer reveals all anyone needs to know about Poe's adventure, including why you shouldn't use "moose milker" as an insult. It only makes sense that while Rey and Finn were escaping the First Order, Poe was having his own adventure. But will the Lego version of the character be just as dreamy as Oscar Isaac? That remains to be seen. Poe's Quest for Survival is available for download as part of the Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens Season Pass right now. 50 Greatest Superhero Movie Performances of All Time
