Dans la jungle, Quinlan et Luminara Unduli préparent une attaque contre un camp de mercenaires avec l’aide de Gumbaeki, Ancien du village de Palsaang.Les clones et les Jedi s’occupent des reptiloïdes tandis que Gumbaki libère ses congénères retenus captifs. Une seule chose n’était pas prévue : l’intervention des droïdes crabes ! Leur salut n’est dû qu’à l’intervention d’un vaisseau, L’Inferno, piloté par le plus improbable des capitaines : Vilmarh « Villie Grahrk, vieille connaissance de Vos.
Le dévaronien vit sur Kashyyyk depuis quelques mois, réalisant des opérations de contrebance pour le compte des Wookies, et s’est attiré la sympathie des autochtones, notamment le jeune Chak. Entre temps, Quinlan parvient à soutirer des informations à un Trandoshan mourrant. L’objectif principal des troupes séparatistes est l’archipel de Wawatt mais des informations ont révélé que des membres de la Guilde de Claatuvac se trouvaient à Palsaang. Ces adeptes détiennent le secret des routes hyperspatiales cachées, pouvant donner un avantage certain à la Confédération des Systèmes Indépendants. De retour à Palsaang, Quinlan découvre par hasard dans l’ordinateur de bord de l’Inferno que ces routes secrètes existent réellement. Le lendemain, Maître Yoda arrive dans le village, tout juste débarqué sur la planète. Les nouvelles sont mauvaises : l’ennemi avance et la bataille est imminente. Cependant, le Général Grievous a été repéré sur Utapau, Obi-Wan Kenobi à sa poursuite.
La fin de la guerre est proche… Dans l’archipel de Wawatt, Yoda entre en méditation de combat. Le 41ème d’élite et un détachement de la 50ème affrontent les droïdes des Séparatistes, en contrebas de la ville de Kachirho. Quinlan et Luminara envoient alors leurs troupes. Le Commandant Faie déploie son régiment, les Wookies attaquent avec leur rage légendaire et l’Inferno vient même prêter main forte. Les droïdes n’ont aucune chance et se font repousser… Peu après la bataille, Yoda apprend que le Général Grievous a été vaincu. Ce qu’il ne sait pas, c’est que le sort de la galaxie est scellé… Quinlan et Luminara préparent leurs troupes au départ lorsque l’Ordre 66 est donné. Maître Unduli, prise par surprise, est exécutée sur le champ. Maître Vos est pris dans le feu d’un char de la République commandé par Faie. Maître Yoda, quant à lui, réussit à anticiper l’attaque et élimine le Commandant Gree. Aidé par Tarfful et Chewbacca, le Jedi quitte Kashyyyk à bord d’une navette monoplace…
