is a non-canon game based on the television series. It is the fourth game in the popular game series, and contains many elements similar to its predecessors. The game was first announced on February 8th 2011 and is scheduled to release on March 22, 2011 for the Wii, PlayStation 3, XBOX, Windows PC, PlayStation Portable, and Nintendo DS. A trial version became available for download on the XBOX weeks before the actual release. The game had a website, titled, Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars Beta, which was an online game that allowed you to get a first look at some of the game's elements and playable characters. There was no real goal there, but players were able to collect studs (the base currency for Lego games) to unlock videos, revealing gameplay, and characters that would be playable on the official release. Cheat Codes can be entered by accessing the pause menu and going to the extras section. In the extras section, go to 'enter secret code'.Alright so I’ve got a bit of extra time today.

So I guess you all get a second review. Next up is the Clone Commander Helmets. How I made these: (First off: These figures are not made for accuracy sake, it’s more of a way to display combinations and color matches.) Fives Helmet:  Exoforce Torso, Series 1 minifigure Astronaut Legs and Arealight Jet pack. Echo Helmet:Arealight’s Female Trooper Torso, Custom Printed Legs from Bricklink, Waist cape and Pauldron from MMCBCapes, Amazing Armory backpack. Colt: Power Miners Torso, Pauldron from Christo on Ebay, Modified KZ Armor from Hazel Fantasy(Amazing Armory). Gree: Lego Kingdoms Torso and Legs. From left to right: Fives Helmet, Echo Helmet, Colt Helmet, Gree Helmet Alright, so let’s go ahead and start off with the Fives Helmet. The design matches Fives Arc helmet quite well, however since these are printed onto Arealight’s Commander Helmets there is no Phase 1 fin. (As a reminder: Arealight currently does not have Clone wars Arc Trooper helmets in any of his plans yet;

I have already asked :P)  The Echo helmet is also just as crisp of a design, but it is a tad less accurate due to the markings on the top of his helmet being one tone rather than two tone in the reference photo I had seen. However both helmets have clean and crisp printing and honestly you really can’t go wrong with it unless it just really bugs you that there’s no Phase 1 Fin. There is a very very miniscule print error on my Echo and Fives helmets, the printing is shifted goes a bit out of indention. I also think that had Arealight added the hatch marks onto the bottom of the sides of the helmets similar to his previous helmets it would have turned out much better. However these are still great helmets and I love the designs. Now moving on to the Colt helmet. This helmet is a bit interesting as it doesn’t really match the reference as well as the other helmets. It’s white printed onto a silver helmet like Gree. However, since white is often transparent, the white appears a light gray color.

The printing on this helmet really isn’t as good as the other ones as it sort of messes up once it gets to the fin. The design it self would be really nice had it been printed the other way around (Grey on white) or if the printer was able to lay down a better coat of white ink. As you can see, the design sort of curves and the ink sort of thickens at the edge of the design. It’s a helmet that I feel could have been executed better, but what’s done is done.  Most likely, I’ll be going over the ink with a coat or two of white paint to clean the look up a bit. Now for the Gree Helmet. The Gree Helmet is quite nice actually; like the Colt helmet, it is printed on silver. The silver color of the plastic matches Lego’s Dark Bluish Grey color, the green is a bit darker due to the color it is printed on but it matches the reference quite well actually. The design is pretty nice and the printing is very crisp, but it isn’t completely without fault unfortunately. The printing on the back of mine is a bit out of the indention it was made for.

However I’m pretty sure this is just a misfire on the printer’s behalf. Over all, I like these helmets. I would say that if you want to order a few you should. You have a really big selection to choose from, but if you want to order some of the Wave 2 ones; I would suggest either the Echo or Fives Helmet. Both of which have fantastic detailing and design work. As always, I hope this helped you decide on what to buy and thanks for your time, Once again, there should be a few more reviews coming a long this week.After watching The Force Awakens, and the stupid grin on my face eventually wearing off, and then watching it again several times more, I then started to look at the Lego sets in earnest. I wanted to see the film before committing to buying anything. I needed to like the characters before wanting to own them in two inch plastic form.I cared about Rey and Finn. I even cared about Poe despite his freakish ability to destroy 10 TIE fighters and snipe several Stormies in less than 12 seconds of ridiculous piloting and marksmanship.

Thankfully I was able to pick up each of these heroes, and villains, in the Winter and Summer waves of TFA sets. One figure that remained absent however was that of our gnarled and world-weary Jedi-in-Chief Luke Skywalker… destined to evade us until the release of Episode 8 sets in a year’s time… until now. Phoenix Customs has majored on the side of Super Hero custom figures and brought many excellent figures to the market but in the last six months or so they’ve also delivered two incredible Star Wars figures in the shape of Luke in Bespin Fatigues and Lando Calrissian in his Cloud City attire, both as limited edition figures. Now Phoenix are releasing this fantastic Sequel Trilogy edition figure of Luke complete with chromed hand. The figure has custom dyed hairpiece in dark tan which differs from the grey piece of the same colour we’ve seen from the TFA game design. Luke’s robes are done simply but effectively with a nice mix of white and tan on the torso with dark tan legs complimenting the tan robe printing across the front.

Pre-sale of the figure has now passed but very limited numbers of the figure will be available from the Phoenix Customs website in the beginning of the new year. On this blog, we strive to show you the best creations from the LEGO Star Wars universe. And scrolling down, we hope you see loads of great MOCs. However, you might notice something’s missing. Looking at ‘s amazing work made me realize this. You see, we’ve featured so many MOCs, but we haven’t touched a lot on the subject of custom Star Wars minifigures. You might think there’s not so much creativity involved in that, as most characters have already been done and a single minifig can’t possibly be as much work as an entire creation. Or it could be your opinion that the results are often quite weak compared to the grandiose, detailed and realistic MOCs. But once you’ve seen Concore’s work, you know that can’t be true. We’ve featured some of his decals long ago, but recently he has started to create completely new, highly detailed and absolutely gorgeous minifigs, from Doctor Who over Tintin to our beloved franchise.

Above, you can see his recent and possibly best creation. It is indeed a Star Wars figure, since it’s a representation of the original concept art Ralph McQuarrie did for . It’s hard for us to think about what the famous smuggler could have been, except for what he is, but here we have plenty of fuel for our imagination. It’s an incredible figure, with personality through all of the details and the pose. It’s as expressive as a minifigure can get, and it doesn’t need an elaborate setting to tell a story. With this kind of incredible creations, Concore is filling up the gaps in the minifigure population we never know we missed. So go on a blind date on his , and meet all of those characters you never saw, but now can’t look away from. EB member WholeHazelNuts decided that he needed some DC comic book characters in microfig format, so he started with those, and now he’s extended his lineup of customs to include many iconic Star Wars characters. The fine detail on these painted microfigs is excellent and the style is perfect.

Member (Dutch) recently returned to being a more active member of EB, and one of his latest customs that he’s posted over in our Minifig Customization Workshop is these two clones: Echo and Fives from The Clone Wars. He says that Fives uses fifteen different waterslide decals in the helmet alone, and I have to say that they look printed (to this untrained eye), because the application is very clean. Customizer extraordinaire Arealight has released Wave 6 of their custom helmets and jetpacks for all your custom LEGO Star Wars needs. Featuring several mandalorian helemts you can expand the ranks of your mandalorians nicely with these. Also useful for Mercenaries throughout the galaxy who are looking to upgrade their arsenal! There is also a few new clone trooper helmets mixed in there for good measure. You can purchase these at Arealight’s website. Then head over and discuss them in the Eurobricks Minifig Customization forum. Eurobricks member JPOStudios has shared with us his custom Phase II 501st Clone Trooper, it features impressive leg, arm, and torso decals that he designed.
