With the PS4 hardware, Sony has got most things spot on. It’s the most powerful console this generation. It has lots of great games and there are more on the way. Furthermore, the PS4 console is already establishing itself as the leader of the pack - so you know you'll always have someone to play against. PS4 Pro - Take Gaming To The Next Level The PS4 Pro is Sony's most powerful console ever, capable of 4K gaming at 30 frames per second in HDR colours. It doesn't have a 4K Blu-Ray player, but you can stream YouTube, Netflix and other supported services in 4K for the best in entertainment.

Aimed at the higher-end gamers and those looking for higher-fidelity graphics, the PS4 Pro is not a new console generation but an upgrade to the existing generation. What's different with this console? The console may not look all that different visually, but Sony has made some significant changes to the PS4 Pro. Firstly it ships with a 1TB hard drive as standard, no 500GB option (as of yet). It is also able to stream and play games in 3 modes, 4K at 30fps, 1080p at 60fps and 1080p at 30fps. It has twice the processing power of the original PS4 with a AMD Radeon 4.2 TFLOPs meaning that game graphics will be far more detailed with a stable frame-rate. It also uses HDR, although Sony are introducing that to all iteration of the Playstation 4. Existing games will be upscaled Enjoy incredible games in even better visual-fidelity. Games you already own will be upscaled on the PS4 Pro to make the most of its capabilities, meaning you can enjoy Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, The Last of Us and Bloodborne all over again.

PS4 Standard and Slim - What's in the box? Get any PS4 bundle and you’ll get the same basic bits. That includes a PS4 console, one DualShock 4 controller, a power adapter, an HDMI cable, a USB cable to charge your controller, and a voice-chat headset. From the original PlayStation to PS3, the DualShock has stayed pretty much the same. However, the PS4 brings some brilliant changes, with a built-in track pad and a share button that lets players video-stream their games online. There's even a special lightbar designed to work with the PS4 virtual reality headset, called Project Morpheus. Sony has ensured that the PS4 has access to a massive collection of exclusives, including Bloodborne, Until Dawn, The Order: 1886, God of War III and plenty more. Of course, you'll ultimately want to choose the console with the games and features you want most. Lego's definitely the best kids' toy, and we know a few adults who are fans too. We won't hear any arguing that it's Barbie, Playdoh or Xbox - Lego wins it hands down (OK, OK, that's just my opinion - MSE Charlotte).

But there's an issue which we can't block out - Lego can be SO expensive. So hopefully this deal will help you out. If you're between six and 14 (sorry grown-ups, this one isn't for you, so please let your kids know!), go into your nearest official Lego store (there's more info on where below) on the first Thursday of every month between 4-6pm to take part in the Lego Mini Build. Get there as soon as you can, as stock is limited to 200-300 models per store (depending on size and location), and it's first come, first served. Staff  will  show your kids how to make the model, which Lego told us is worth around £5 (but it's not for sale). Once it's been made - it should take about 10-15 mins - the kids can take it home for free. The models are different each month, and you don't know what you're going to get till you get in there. More info Participating stores include: Bluewater, Brighton, Cardiff, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester Arndale, Milton Keynes, Newcastle, Sheffield Meadowhall, Watford and both London Westfield centres.

FREE Batman Lego buildIf you're planning to visit a Toys 'R' Us store (find your nearest) this weekend, from 11am to 1pm on Sat 11 Feb you could build and take home a mini Batman Batmobile Lego toy (while stocks last). As the similar monthly toy builds at the Lego Store are so popular, it's best to arrive early to maximise your chances of grabbing a spot. It's completely free to build, there's no Robin necessary... 'Free' 5 Lego with 1.50 paperBuy a copy of The Times (£1.50) on Sat 11 Feb and you'll find a voucher inside for a free Lego toy to be redeemed the same day. Saturday's freebie is Batman in the Phantom Zone (model no 30522), which includes a Batman minifigure and drone. Similar sets are usually priced at about £4.99 each. How to get it Show the voucher found in the paper at Martin's or McColls newsagents (find your nearest) before closing on the day you bought the paper to claim your freebie. If your local store has run out, or you can't get to a newsagents, you can also pay £2.45 P&P and order it online if that's more convenient for you.

There's also a Lego Batman activity book and sticker set available for £1.99 postage. As usual with these freebies, it's a "while stocks last" situation, we don't know how many each store's likely to have - so try to get there early in the day to avoid missing out. It's limited to one freebie per person. More info Photocopies, damaged or defaced vouchers won't be accepted.
