By now many of you have probably explored the galaxy far, far away that is LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens (if you haven’t, then what are you waiting for?!). One of the lingering questions I’m sure you’ve had is… what’s the deal with C-3PO’s red arm?The Phantom Limb Level Pack let’s you experience these events, while collecting new characters and a cool vehicle along the way. This downloadable content is a free exclusive for PS4 and PS3 players! The Phantom Limb level continues the Trouble Over Taul story — one of the New Adventure levels featured in LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens set in the time leading up to the film — after C-3PO’s ship crashlands on the barren planet of Taul, inhabited by hostile alien creatures who seem to crave the taste of droids. Never fear though — C-3PO is in good company with an oddball cast of survivors. First up is PZ-99, a security droid whose prime directive is to protect all non-combat personnel. Teaming up with him is VL-44, another security droid, armed with an incinerator to destroy gold LEGO bricks and fend off the hostile creatures on the surface of Taul.
There’s also CO-34, a construction droid able to do most of the heavy lifting for the group, MSE-Y, a repair droid, GNK-189, a power droid, and 2MED2, a medical droid. They’re all really fun to play as, each with their own charm and playstyle! Additionally, we have O-MR1, a First Order droid who has been captured and taken prisoner by the C-3PO led group of Resistance droids. He’s featured briefly in the Trouble Over Taul level within the New Adventure level alongside Captain Phasma, but he plays a pivotal role here and is a really interesting counterpart to C-3PO. Plus, he’s voiced by Simon Pegg, of whom I’m a massive fan! I hope you’re looking forward to playing through this exclusive level pack and finding out more about this interesting cast of characters. And as a reminder, the Droids Character Pack DLC is also currently available exclusively for PS4 and PS3 players so if you haven’t downloaded it yet, you should go grab that one, too. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced the release of its latest downloadable content for LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens that allows players to channel their inner evil to fight as part of the First Order. The DLC titled the "First Order Siege of Takodana Level Pack" includes a new take on the assault on Maz Kanata's castle on the planet of Takodana. That's because players get to experience it from the perspective of the First Order as the film's most notorious villain Kylo Ren. As the villain, players lead the First Order on the attack in the search for Rey and BB-8. The "Siege of Takodana Level Pack" features battle gameplay on the land and in the skies. And since this is a battle we are talking about, expect their to be lots of lightsaber action.
But this is a LEGO title, so players can also expect the old familiar humor that we have all grown to love and also expect in the game. This DLC pack brings with it the following playable and unlockable characters and vehicles: Kylo Ren, FN-1044 (stormtrooper), Jashco Phurus, Rosser Weno, Stormtrooper Officer, Strono Tuggs,Thromba, Laparo, Jakku Freighter (Full-size Vehicle), Jakku Freighter (Microfighter Vehicle). The "First Order Siege of Takodana Level Pack" is the second out of three DLC packs that have been released for this game. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment previous released the "Poe's Quest For Survival Level Pack," which tells the story of what happened to the character after crashing on Jakku. Playable characters and vehicles include in that pack include: Naka Iit, Ohn Gos, Poe Dameron (Jakku), Strus Clan Leader, Strus Clan Raider, Strus Clan Speeder (Full-size Vehicle) and Strus Clan Speeder (Microfighter Vehicle). The next Level Pack to be released will be the one titled "Escape From StarKiller Base."
Gamers can now buy LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens Deluxe Edition which includes both the main game and the Season Pass with the DLC for PS4 and Xbox One.
