Learn everything there is to know about Product Codes, promotional codes, and code redemption. Log in to Origin using the EA Account you want to add your game to. This is important if you're a parent who wants to add a game to your child's account. When you buy a game through Origin, you'll be given a Product Code to register and activate your game. Sachez que les disques incorporant ce genre de sécurités ne seront plus lisibles par le nouveau système d'exploitation de Microsoft. Comme le rapporte RockPaperShotgun, de nombreux jeux ne seront donc plus jouables en l'état sur Windows 10. Nous pouvons, par exemple, inscrire Crimson Skies, Grand Theft Auto 3, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 ou bien encore Les Sims sur cette longue liste. Même si certaines solutions seront disponibles, il faudra ruser pour pouvoir lancer ces titres. Cette information a été révélée par un employé de chez Microsoft lors d'une interview en allemand : Tout ce qui fonctionnait sous Windows 7 devrait également fonctionner sous Windows 10. Il y a juste deux exceptions : les antivirus (...) et les vieux jeux sur CD-Rom qui ont des DRM. Le DRM est profondément ancré dans votre système et c'est là que Windows 10 dit "Désolé, on ne peut pas permettre cela, parce que ça pourrait être une possible faille pour les virus".




C'est pourquoi il y a quelques jeux de 2003-2008 équipés de Securom ou autres qui ne se lanceront tout simplement pas sans patch no-CD ou des choses du genre. On ne peut pas soutenir cela si c'est un danger pour nos utilisateurs. Il y a déjà quelques patches des développeurs et il y a des plateformes comme GOG où vous pouvez trouver des versions fonctionnelles pour ces jeux. Même si ce point reste assez dommageable pour les amateurs de vieux jeux, il faut bien comprendre que ces systèmes sont obsolètes et qu'ils pourraient constituer une faille large comme un boulevard aux hackeurs. Dans ces conditions, Microsoft préfère même nous rediriger vers les patches no-CD, bien que ceux-ci soient bien souvent disponibles sur des sites pirates. Rappelons que cela ne concerne que les jeux équipés de DRM, et non pas TOUS les jeux de la dernière décénnie. Ceux-ci restent tout de même assez nombreux, une liste les recenssant a été créée et comporte tout de même quelques grands noms.
