We don’t usually shout about discounts on TSA but as Argos are flogging and old style, original 500gb PlayStation 4 for £149, along with a copy of LEGO Star Wars and The Force Awakens on Blu-ray, well that’s an offer too good not to shout about. Since the slimmer PlayStation 4 released a couple weeks ago, this seems to be to clear out the older C-chassis stock which featured the original PS4 look. A couple of other retailers, including GAME, John Lewis, Very, Asda and Tesco also have similar offers on but be quick they won’t stay on the shelves for long! There are now official images of the three LEGO 2016 Advent Calendars from Amazon France and I’ll upload the descriptions when they’re available. As for the release date, if LEGO follows the same trend from previous years, they will be available on September 1. There will be spoilers below so if you’re looking forward to opening the advent calendars, I would advise you not to click the spoiler tags or read any further. LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures TrailerPosted on Wednesday, February 17th, 2016 by Peter ScirettaOn February 11th 2016, Disney announced that a new Star Wars television series will debut this summer. Now the mouse house have released the first trailer for the upcoming Disney XD animated series LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures. Watch the trailer and learn more, after the jump.LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures TrailerThe trailer relays a bunch of backstory, including the mythology of a Jedi Master who forged the Kyber Saber, a lighsaber made of Kyber Crystals. When it proved to be too powerful, the Jedi Master shattered it, and scattered the crystals throughout the galaxy, to keep the power out of evil’s hands. The new series will follow Kordi, Zander, and Rowan, three sibling scavengers who, with the help of their droid Roger and a female warrior named Naare (who appears to be a Jedi?), begin a quest across the galaxy to retrieve the Kyber Crystals before the Emperor does.

Our original story from February 11th 2016 follows:LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures is being billed as a “fun-filled adventure comedy series” that will “introduce all-new heroes and villains in exciting adventures with many familiar Star Wars characters.”Told in the whimsically-charged style that audiences have come to expect from LEGO Star Wars entertainment, the series stars the Freemakers, a family of scavengers who build and sell starships from the scoured debris of space battles strewn throughout the galaxy. When their youngest discovers a natural connection with the Force through an ancient artifact – the Kyber Saber – his world is turned upside down, and he and his family are thrown into an epic struggle against the Empire to restore peace and freedom to the galaxy. Throughout their adventures, the Freemakers explore new worlds, meet new and familiar characters, and learn the true value of what it means to be a family.I’ve always enjoyed the LEGO Star Wars video games and the short animated segments of LEGO Star Wars: Droid Tales were entertaining when I happened to catch them before or after Star Wars Rebels.LEGO Group vice president, licensing & entertainment Jill Wilbert says that the “show masterfully combines the rich heritage of storytelling, great characters, action and adventure in a galaxy far

, far away with the creativity, imagination and humor that only LEGO Star Wars can deliver,” and that she is “sure fans young and old are going to love the show.”Lucasfilm’s vice president of animation development Carrie Beck says that the new series will “bring all new stories to life that could only be realized in the LEGO Star Wars universe.”We are embarking on an unprecedented collaboration that will allow us to extend the narrative experience of the Star Wars saga with the same playful spirit that’s always made LEGO Star Wars so much fun to watch. We are so thankful to have such great partners in the LEGO Group, Disney XD and series developers Bill Motz and Bob Roth.LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures is being developed for television by Bill Motz and Bob Roth (who both worked on Penguins of Madagascar), alongside Torsten Jacobson (who worked on LEGO Star Wars: Droid Tales). The project is being executive produced by Jill Wilbert (The LEGO Movie) and produced by Carrie Beck (Star Wars Rebels), Jason Cosler (LEGO Marvel Super Heroes: Avengers Reassembled!), Jake Blais and John McCormack.
