The collective minds of "Star Wars" fans exploded back in April when a black-and-white photo emerged of the cast of "Episode VII" at a script reading. It finally made the abstract concept of new "Star Wars" movies feel real. Lego, which makes a line of "Star Wars"-themed plastic-building-brick kits, decided to celebrate the cast by putting together a minifigure version of the photo.Lego posted the image to Twitter with the message: "You've met the actors, now meet the Minifigure cast of @starwars Episode VII!" It's a pretty accurate representation of the cast photo, including R2-D2 in a shipping container.Lego took some liberties by modifying the original photo and hiding quite a few Easter eggs around the scene. A laptop sitting open on the table shows two dates: 4-29-14 (indicating the date of the photo) and 12-18-2015 (the expected release date for the movie). Actor Peter Mayhew is represented by a Chewbacca minifigure. Harrison Ford is dressed in his Han Solo outfit, complete with a blaster in his hand as he listens to an animated-looking J.J. Abrams.
Carrie Fisher is rocking a slave-Leia outfit rather than the trademark buns. Anthony Daniels appears as a full-on C-3PO minifig, and Luke Skywalker has a lightsaber at the ready. One other joke is actually a genre-crosser. Andy Serkis, also known for his work in the "Lord of the Rings" films as Gollum, is holding a not-to-scale version of the One Ring from Middle Earth, looking thoroughly enthralled.
