Will we ever run out of new pieces of the Star Wars universe? It’s not happening anytime soon. In fact, this summer we’re getting a new animated LEGO Star Wars series. Get details on The Freemaker Adventures in today’s TV-Cap, and while you’re here, watch a teaser for next week’s Arrow, learn about a new show starring Sylvester Stallone, hear a Game of Thrones rap, and more.The Star Wars galaxy will grow in size when LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures debuts on Disney XD on June 20. The animated series is set between Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi and focuses on a new group of characters named the Freemaker family. There’s Rowan (Nicholas Cantu), Kordi (Vanessa Lengies), Zander (Eugene Byrd), and the droid Roger (Matthew Wood). Force-sensitive Rowan has discovered the Kyber Saber; the artifact’s connection to the Force throws the scavenging family into epic adventures around the galaxy, where they will of course run into familiar characters. Disney XD will have a premiere week for the show, dropping a new episode every day from June 20 through June 23.

Sylvester Stallone has kept busy with film over the years, but he’s making some time to star in his first ever television series. He’ll play Raymonde Aprile in Omerta; the series is an adaptation of a book of the same name by Mario Puzo, who wrote The Godfather. Naturally, Aprile is a mob boss. The series is just about ready to be shopped around, and I can’t imagine they’ll have hard time getting an order. Like felines and Game of Thrones? This art by Griselda Sastrawinata-Lemay and Normand Lemay, a.k.a. Griz and Norm, is for you. They’ve turned characters from around the Seven Kingdoms into cats. See an entire gallery of this glorious art here at Nerdist.Diggle has had to face the hard truth about his brother Andy’s shady allegiances in Arrow. The next episode, “Genesis,” will force the two brothers together, and things might get dark for Diggle. Do you miss Charlie Brown and his group of weird but great friends? You’re in luck, because Peanuts will be back on our televisions on May 9—specifically on Boomerang—in the form of a series of animated vignettes.

The cartoons are being developed by license-holders Normaal Animation of France. What happens when you ask The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to recap the Game of Thrones premiere for you? He turns to The Roots and they put together a totally off-the-cuff, not-rehearsed rap that hits all the major beats in less than two minutes. National Geographic Channel has ordered its first ever scripted series. (I’m surprised it took them this long, actually.) Genius is an anthology drama that will focus on stories about, you guessed it, geniuses. Ron Howard will direct the first episode, and it will focus on Albert Einstein. The Best Laid Plans… Things went awry all over the television last night, and we have recaps of two episodes where next steps didn’t go according to plan. Read our recaps of Orphan Black and The 100. What do you think is ahead for John Diggle? Are you looking forward to more Peanuts? Give me a shout in the comments.Yesterday, it was revealed that there will be an exclusive LEGO Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy Rocket’s Warbird sold at San Diego Comic Con 2014.

The Wall Street Journal has also revealed two other sets that will be sold at the event: a classic Batmobile from the television series and the Ghost from the Star Wars Rebels animated TV show. There are no images of the set but the article notes the sets will be sold for $39.99 each and there will be 1,000 sets available with 250 sold each day. LEGO seems to be going all out this year at SDCC 2014 with all the exclusives on hand. Stay tuned for more details as these exclusives are slowly being revealed every day. Update: Yahoo Movies has an image of the LEGO Star Wars Rebels The Ghost.by Jessica Lachenal | 3:16 pm, April 27th, 2016 After introducing their incredibly hilarious first entry into the LEGO Star Wars: The Resistance Rises series back in February, the fine folks at LEGO continued their grand tradition of making everything adorable and hilarious with two brand new episodes for the animated series. It’s like they took The Force Awakens and made it the best kind of Saturday morning cartoon;

except, you know, this cartoon’s about three and a half minutes long and is on the internet so you can watch it whenever you want. With LEGO Star Wars: The Resistance Rises, LEGO hopes to be able to share the story of how (you guessed it) the Resistance rose in the wake of the First Order’s power grab. There remains the lingering question of whether any of this is canon (which, let’s be honest, we kind of really hope it is), but even if it isn’t, these are some incredibly fun interpretations of the events that might not have been captured in the movie. The first episode, titled “The Trouble With Rathtars” (get it), centers on Han Solo and Chewbacca hauling Rathtars through space. It (obviously) takes place before their encounter with Rey and Finn outside of Jakku. They get up to some great smuggler antics with Chewie filling the role of slapstick comedian while getting chased around the ship by the massive Rathtars. “Hunting for Han” revolves around Maz Kanata’s castle, where Bala Tik (the Scottish-accented bounty hunter/scoundrel from the Rathtar scene aboard Han’s ship in TFA) delivers a mysterious package to Maz.

He tries to coax information about Solo from her, but winds up getting in a massive bar fight because apparently everyone wants a piece of Solo–including the table of alien women who only get more excited after seeing Solo’s “silver fox” (according to Maz) photo. I fully expected them to go with a boring ageist “gross out” joke at Han Solo’s advanced age photo, but they doubled down and frankly, I thought that was absolutely fantastic. Of course, the big reveal in the second one involves an old friend, one that makes me super excited to think about. I don’t want to spoil it, but rest assured that if this ends up being fully canon and everything (which I still believe it is), then the implications of having this person be at Maz’s castle before Solo shows up means a hell of a lot, people. —The Mary Sue has a strict comment policy that forbids, but is not limited to, personal insults toward anyone, hate speech, and trolling.— Follow The Mary Sue on Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Pinterest, & Google+.
