A post shared by CNET (@cnet) on Feb 18, 2017 at 11:01am PSTA badly injured Anakin Skywalker clings to life at the end of "Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith", and with the twist of an upcoming Lego set, you can transform him into the evil Darth Vader. The Darth Vader Transformation Lego set (releasing in June for $25, which roughly converts to about £20 or AU$30) is one of many the company is showing off at New York Toy Fair 2017, re-creating movie moments in the Star Wars, Marvel and DC movie universes.Other upcoming Star Wars sets include the Battle on Scarif set showing the climactic battle from "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" (coming out in March for $49, which is roughly £40 and AU$65), the Battle of Naboo set re-creating Darth Maul's duel against Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi Wan Kenobi in "Episode 1: The Phantom Menace" and several ship sets that include favorite characters.Over in the Marvel universe, Lego sets are providing peeks into "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" as well as "Spider-Man: Homecoming."

The Ayesha's Revenge playset includes Star-Lord, Yondu, Groot and Ayesha minifigures along with the Golden Drone spaceship, coming out in March and selling for $30. That's roughly £25 or AU$40. And sets coming out this year for Spider-Man include a re-creation of the bank robbery scene that currently can be seen in trailers for this summer's movie. Another shows Spidey and Iron Man taking on the Vulture. And while "The Lego Batman Movie" has just been released, Lego is still releasing sets that include transforming Batmobiles and the Batwing ship.Check the gallery below to see many of the Lego sets on the way for 2017. Everything you need in a phone, except the headphone jackMarvel has just released its first official trailer (and first international trailer) for #SpiderManHomecoming. If you haven't already watched it half a dozen times by now, catch it below —and be sure to keep your eye out for one particular Easter Egg. Besides the trailer being simply awesome, there was a reference in there that fans may not have noticed right away. Take a look at the trailer at around the 1:17 mark in the gif shown below:Though it's a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment, Peter Parker’s friend Ned Leeds (Jacob Batalon) is seen holding what appears to be a constructed Death Star made out of Legos! If you're still not sure that’s the Death Star in Lego form, take a gander at what the set actually looks like up close:That sure looks like the Death Star Lego set to me. While all of the figures are likely absent from the #trailer, it seems pretty obvious that this is in fact the set shown above. Not only that, but if you look very close to the immediate right of the screen at the exact same scene, you should also see the front of an X-Wing Fighter as well.

It is no secret that in #CaptainAmericaCivilWar, the young Spider-Man makes a clear reference to a famous Star Wars scene from The Empire Strikes Back that took place on the Battle of Hoth. During the airport action sequence, Peter exclaims:“You ever see that really old movie 'The Empire Strikes Back'? You know that part where they're on the snow planet with the walkie thingies?”Just like in Captain America: Civil War, Parker has made it known to audiences that he is a huge #StarWars fanatic. Since that appears to be Peter’s bedroom, we shouldn’t be surprised that he would also have plenty of Star Wars memorabilia.Considering #RogueOne is due out in less than a week and the entire film centers around the Death Star, I find it rather amusing that it’s being featured in this trailer even if only for a second. This trailer will also be airing directly in front of Rogue One. Nice little self-promoting from both Star Wars and Marvel's parent company there — sneaky #Disney. We all know the eventual fate of the Death Star in A New Hope so the #EasterEgg fits in nicely.

Ned Leeds’s reaction to seeing Peter while also dropping the Lego set into hundreds of pieces surmises exactly what will happen to the Death Star. Simply put, it gets obliterated. Were you able to catch the Star Wars Easter Egg? Are there any more Easter Eggs you spotted from the trailer?
