In what has become an increasing trend, YouTube user DT98Films has remade the recent Spider-Man: Homecoming trailer using LEGO - complete with awkward hugging. Spider-Man: Homecoming is due out in theaters July 7, 2017. The Lego Movie Directors Producing New Spider-Man Animated Film A new animated Spider-Man film is in the works. The news is fresh out of CinemaCon, with the first-of-its-kind animated Spider-Man feature set to exist independently of the in-development live-action Spider-Man movies. Rumours about this project first surfaced during the Sony hack and leaked emails. The untitled Spider-Man animated movie is being produced by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller (The Lego Movie), with the in-demand duo also in charge of writing the story treatment. We recently reported that Lord and Miller are said to be writing the story treatment for The Flash film. The animated Spider-Man feature is slated for a July 20, 2018 release date. The next live-action Spider-Man is set to appear in an upcoming film from the Marvel Cinematic Universe before starring in a standalone Sony Pictures feature.

Nathan Lawrence is a freelance writer from Sydney who thinks that everything about this news is awesome. Chase him down on Twitter.[Captain America: Civil War](tag:994409) is now only a few days away — at least for some of us fans here in the US. A lot of lucky people have already had the opportunity to check out the movie, either at an advanced press screening, or because it was released earlier in their countries. There are a lot of exciting characters that I am looking forward to seeing, but it is Spider-Man who has really caught my attention. My personal favorite superhero of all time is being incorporated into the MCU for the very first time and I cannot wait to see it! has shown us a very little of Spider-Man in the trailers. We had our first glimpse at our favorite web-slinger at the end of the second official trailer for [Captain America: Civil War](tag:994409). More recently, we have spotted him in two different TV spots. One TV spot showed Spidey swinging through a window and catching Winter Soldier's punch.

The other TV spot is an extended scene of his first arrival at the airport battle. It isn't just the trailers that Spider-Man has been absent from. Spider-Man has not been seen in any of the posters. In addition, we have not seen him in any toys. No LEGO sets, action figures, or bobble heads have featured Spider-Man, as Marvel has tried their best to hide him. Well, the first Captain America: Civil War action figure featuring that movie's likeness of Spider-Man has apparently been revealed. Spider-Man action figure from Civil War! It's pretty cool to finally begin to see Spider-Man included with merchandise. It makes sense to include him, as he's the action figure kids are going to want after seeing Captain America: Civil War. The action figure itself looks really awesome and I really like the web shooters. This Spider-Man action figure is listed as part of an 'exclusive' 8-pack of action figures, including Ant-Man, Captain America, Falcon, War Machine, Black Widow, Iron Man, and Black Panther.

However, it is never made clear where this set of Marvel action figures is exclusive to. There is a similar 9-pack, which does not include Spider-Man, and is available at Wal-Mart stores and online. It is noted on the box that the Spider-Man figure is a 'special edition.' Last but not least, go check out my new YouTube channel — Movie Hutt — dedicated to the world of film. The Honest Truth: Spectre Teaser Trailer! The 5th Wave (2016)Did you miss out on the dark and gritty Power Rangers fan film before it got pulled from YouTube and Vimeo? Well, then you’re in luck. Power/Rangers producer Adi Shankar and Saban Entertainment have worked out their differences and come to an agreement that allowed the fan film to return online. Part of the deal is that an age restriction appears on the YouTube video, and there is also a new disclaimer on the NSFW vimeo version. The disclaimer reads: “Deboot of the Power Rangers. My take on the FAN FILM. Not a pilot, not a series, not for profit, strictly for exhibition. This is a bootleg experiment not affiliated or endorsed by Saban Entertainment or Lionsgate nor is it selling any product. I claim no rights to any of the characters (don’t send me any money, not kickstarted, this film is free). This is the NSFW version. An alternate safe version is on youtube.” Here's the NSFW Vimeo version. POWER/RANGERS from Xyo on Vimeo.

Here's the alternate YouTube version. In an statement to Deadline, director Joseph Kahn said, “They put these disclaimers on so kids so don’t confuse our super-violent film with their Power Rangers brand. There are no hard feelings. We can play it anywhere we want on all platforms. I think they realized that people just want to see it.” The Best Comic Book Movie News From Around The Web New details seem to have surfaced surrounding the upcoming LEGO sets for Spider-Man: Homecoming. In a post on Instagram, user delta.customs revealed that there will be two sets, as part of the summer season of LEGO releases. You can check out his post here below: To finish all of my leaks for the summer sets! EDIT: There are only TWO Spider-Man Homecoming sets! A photo posted by Ayyyyyyeeeeeeee lmao (@delta.customs) on Nov 25, 2016 at 7:53am PST Both sets sounds very interesting. What stood out to us was that in Set #2, Iron Man was listed as a character. Does this indicate that we will see Tony suit up in the film?

In addition, in Set #1, the bank robbers that Spidey is trying to stop have, “Avengers in their names”. What this exactly means, we’re not sure. We do however know that Peter Parker may be paying a visit to Avengers HQ, so perhaps this means we might be seeing a training exercise take place? It is important to note that LEGO sets aren’t exactly the best way to get plot details on a movie. A good example is the now infamous Iron Man 3 LEGO set, which featured the “Final Battle” with the classic looking Mandarin on a boat. However, some LEGO sets have revealed characters and key plot events before, such as the Airport Battle set for Civil War which was leaked and revealed that Giant-Man would be in the movie. Time will only tell if these rumored LEGO sets are real, or truly show us anything that will happen in the movie. What do you guys think about these potential LEGO sets for Spider-Man: Homecoming? Will you be picking these up? Sound off in the comments below!
