This minifigure has only appeared in video game(s)Although this article is about an official minifigure, it never existed in physical form, or appeared in any official LEGO sets. Gwen Stacy is a Marvel Super Heroes minifigure that appears in LEGO Marvel Super Heroes. Gwen Stacy was Captain Stacy's daughter and Spider-Man's original love interest before Mary Jane came around. the Green Goblin, who knew Peter's secret identity, kidnapped Gwen and dropped her out of a bridge, and despite Spider-Man's web reaching her before she hit the ground, the shock made her pass away. The loss of Gwen was one of the biggest tragedies in Spider-Man's career.Get ready to head back into the Spider-Verse this weekend when Marvel's Ultimate Spider-Man kicks off its epic four-part "Return to the Spider-Verse" event! The new event will serve as a sequel of sorts for the original Spider-Verse event that took place last season. Details on the plot have yet-to-be revealed, but the storyline is said to follow Spider-Man & Miles Morales for the most part, which likely means it will center around Peter trying to find a way to get Miles back into his own dimension.

The Best Comic Book Movie News From Around The Web It’s been quite some time since we’ve heard anything about the recently announced Spider-Man cartoon. The new cartoon is set to come out and replace Ultimate Spider-Man when that show airs its final episode in January. This new series will serve as a more back-to-basics show for the web-head. Now, it seems that Spidey may be joined by some new heroes in his upcoming series. Style guide graphics and product concepts have surfaced at Fractured Pixels. These include designs for Spider-Gwen and Miles Morales, in addition to Venom. These aren’t 100% official, but considering that both characters were featured in Ultimate Spider-Man and both are extremely popular, an appearance from Spider-Gwen and Miles Morales isn’t too far fetched. What do you guys think of Spider-Gwen and Miles Morales potentially being featured in this cartoon? Are you going to check this out? Created by Jason Latour and Robbi Rodriguez, and first appearing in Edge of Spider-Verse #2 2014. Gwen Stacy of Earth-65, an alternate Earth, explores a universe where Gwen Stacy was bitten by the radioactive spider instead of Peter Parker forcing her into a career as the Spider-Woman of her world.Attention LEGO fans and collectors: if you happen to be a fan of both the interlocking brick toys and supeheroes — and I’m sure there are plenty of you out there that meet both of those criteria — then this summer is going to be awesome for you. Via Comic Book Resources, the folks at LEGO have just given us a first look at several new Marvel and DC playsets that are heading our way soon, featuring characters like Spider-Man, Batman, and the Suicide Squad. Well, sort of the Suicide Squad. What, did you think they’re going to make a toy for “ages 4 and up” with the words “Suicide” scrawled across the box? (between us chickens though, I kind of wish they could too). Check out pictures of the sets in the gallery below!

First up in the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Spider-Man set is Spider-Man: Web Warriors Ultimate Bridge Battle. This one comes with seven minifigures, which include the Scorpion, Kraven the Hunter, Green Goblin, Aunt May, Spider-Girl, Scarlet Spider and Spider-Man. The building parts of the set offer a section of bridge, Goblin Glider, Taxi and a Police ATV. Unfortunately, there is no Gwen Stacy figure, so you can’t play “Green Goblin throws Gwen off the bridge and her lame boyfriend accidently kills her.” Sorry kids weird adults. The second Spidey set is a smaller one, the Spider-Man: Ghost Rider Team-Up. This set offers just three minifigures, Hobgoblin, Ghost Rider and Spider-Man. Buildable vehicles include a Ghost Rider Bike, Goblin Glider and a traffic light model. Ghost Rider currently doesn’t have a comic on the stands or a movie in development, so I have to wonder why him and not, say, Iron Man, but there you have it. The final Spider-Man set looks to be the coolest, and it’s Spider-Man: Doc Ock’s Tentacle Trap.

For this one you get five minifigures including Doc Ock, the Vulture, Captain Stacy, White Tiger and Spidey. The buildable portions of the set include Doc Ock’s Octo-Bot and a police speedboat. On the DC Superheroes tip, we’ve got the Dark Knight in Batman Scarecrow Harvest of Fear. This set offers five minifigures, including Gas Mask Batman, Blue Beetle, Scarecrow, Killer Moth and a farmer. The three vehicles that can be built in the set include The Batcopter, Scarecrow’s harvester and the farmer’s tractor. Not entirely sure why Blue Beetle is there, but hey, why not. And finally, we’ve got the Suicide Squad set that isn’t really a Suicide Squad set. Technically, this LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes set is titled Batman Killer Croc Sewer Smash. But included among the set’s five minifigures are Suicide Squad members Killer Croc, Captain Boomerang and Katana. So, it’s a tie-in without being a tie-in. The set also includes Batman and Red Hood minifigures. The three vehicles that can be built include the Bat-Tank, Killer Croc’s Battle Chomper and Red Hood’s motorbike.
