Size mattersA hit with Four Year OldLEGO Friends Stephanie's Outdoor Bakeryhard start...better finishYes, Lego, there is another gender!This past Christmas, I finally found the secret to getting my girls to play with Legos: pink. Specifically, LEGO Pink Brick Box (5585). But while I appreciated seeing them build (and re-build!) the little house/stable, I couldn't help but notice the poor minifig, which was undeniably boyish.This new line from Lego is truly intended for girls. The minifigs are much softer looking, yet still have interchangable hair and have hands that fit all existing pieces. The only downside is that these figs don't have holes in the back of their legs, so you can't get them to stick to other Legos in a sitting position like the original figs. Ah well, we'll get used to it.This kit is fun, but TINY. I mostly got it for the minifig, which is good, since the rest of it, once assembled, doesn't amount to much. But I've definitely whetted the appetite of my girls for this new line and they're clamoring for more, so I may invest in a more substantive set shortly.

In 2014, two 12-year-old girls in Wisconsin, USA – Morgan Geyser and Anissa Weier – spent months planning the murder of their friend in order to prove their dedication to the sinister mythical man. The plan was to sacrifice the young girl to Slender Man – who they believed was real. The girls lured their friend into the woods, and then attacked her – stabbing her 19 times. Their friend was close to death, but managed to crawl to safety out of the woods and attract the attention of a passing cyclist.
