The hotel building is spread out along a lovely stretch of beach enclosed by a coral reef, it is not a boutique hotel but a relaxed spacious place that is a little ragged around the edges which is its charm. We stayed in the Nirvana section which is secluded from the main hotel with the pool being for adults only. It was extremely peaceful and we relaxed on our comfortable sun beds most days which were a few steps from our room next to the lovely infinity pool. The real beauty of the hotel is its staff and food.
We cannot highlight how superb the service is, how welcoming and pleasant the staff are, we were looked after so well we wondered if they suspected that we were hotel inspectors but everyone received the same individual attention. We ate at all of the restaurants and the standard of cuisine was excellent at them but the one which stole our hearts was 'La Feya' where the staff could not do enough for us and the food was exquisite. Nitish and his team; Pooja, Avish, Kushal, Jarun, Vinesh, Rovin and Santy were no less than brilliant. They were our 'A' team. We had a special meal for our 1st anniversary whilst there which was held on the jetty. We paid extra for it but it was a special memory which we will hold forever, Sanjays team provided the most delicious dinner, I would have paid just for the fish soup which deserves a couple of Michelin stars. I would recommend this hotel to everyone, we will be back next year for at least 2 weeks.LEGO really does have it all. The experience would have been better had it not for the desperate attempt by legoland management to increase its f&b revenue. On our first day there we had brought some snacks like buns and mini croissants. The security check at the gate informed that bread is considered as "food" but the croissants are fine as they are considered snacks. So we consumed the buns before entering. The next day at the water park the security check has other ideas about the policy. We had brought some mini hashbrowns as my child didn't eat breakfast. But those are considered food. This time we let the security have the snacks or "food" as they deemed. Of course we boycotted all f&b on the second day, unlike the first day when we still purchased drinks. 2day pass anytime, anyday! Great for family with kids. No hassle, No queuing. Prices from Klook are very affordable and cheaper than other. We enjoyed visiting Legoland even for a half day tour because we don't have much time. My kids really love it.
