Zudem handelt es sich um ein exklusives Set, das hierzulande zunächst ausschließlich im LEGO Store und LEGO Online Shop zu erstehen sein wird. Dies also ist das letzte Review des Jahres 2016 – und um gleich mit der Tür ins Haus zu fallen: Dieses The LEGO Batman Movie Spiel-Set macht fast alles richtig. Doch auch AFOLs werden ihre Freude haben. Denn alleine die Anzahl an Minifiguren ist eine Wucht: Gleich zwölf Figuren – und zählen wir die Statue vor dem Haupteingang mit, sind es gar 13 Figuren. Das Polizeifahrzeug ist durchaus peppig gestaltet und der Kofferraum lässt sich öffnen: Das haben wir so schon gesehen, fügt sich aber gut. Und das Hauptgebäude setzt sich aus vier Teilen zusammen: Mittig wäre da also der Haupteingang, und links und rechts lassen sich zwei Flügel ergänzen. Diese lassen sich leider nicht richtig feststecken, sondern nur lose heranschieben, werden aber dank eines Techic-Elements zumindest fixiert. Und dann wäre da noch der Überwachungsturm, der alle anderen Bestandteile dieses Sets überragt.
Wir bei solchen Spiel-Sets üblich, ist die Rückseite offen – es handelt sich um kein Modular Building. Doch die Tiefe von bis zu zehn Noppen geht völlig in Ordnung. So lassen sich zwar einzelne Elemente herausnehmen – aber auch im Gebäude selbst anordnen. Die Innenausstattung lässt sich sehen: Zunächst einmal wird der „Besucher“ komplett durchleuchtet. Es gibt ein Büro, eine Kantine, ein Besucherraum und die Zellen. Diese lassen sich zwar verschließen, ein paar Details wären hier aber durchaus nett gewesen. Ansonsten wurden jedoch viele Details ergänzt – sei es etwa ein Waschraum nebst Waschmittel oder ein kleiner Fitnessraum, damit die Schurken in Form bleiben. Die bereits erwähnte Kantine hat allerhand zu bieten: Sehr schön sind die Tabletts, sprich die neuen Fliesen mit einer Länge von 3 Noppen. Auch ein Tisch darf nicht fehlen – so ganz erschließt sich mir aber nicht, warum als Stühle ebenfalls runde Fliesen gewählt wurden – Noppen wären hier von Vorteil gewesen, damit die Minifiguren in Ruhe speisen können, ohne dass sie vom Hocker kippen.
Ein Sonderlob erhält die Farbauswahl: Das braun in Kombination mit dem Hellgrau und einigen weinroten Elementen ist sehr atmosphärisch – dies ist ein düsterer Ort, an dem sich die Bösewichte von Gotham City „aufhalten“. Ich bin schon jetzt gespannt, welche Rolle das Arkham Asylum im Film spielen wird: Der Zusammenbau des Sets macht auf jeden Fall richtig Spaß, der Umfang überzeugt und wer möchte, kann seine LEGO City nun um eines Geistesanstalt erweitern.
