We are now taking reservations for Birthday parties, at our newest Saratoga location! if you have any questions or to reserve a spot. When your child hosts a birthday party at Kidizens, it isn’t just a day of celebration, it is a jam-packed day of creativity and excitement. During the party, the birthday child and his/her friends build an entire LEGO city while making important decisions – the birthday child gets to name the city or an important landmark in the city. By the end of the party the children create something of which they can truly be proud. We provide a huge LEGO inventory, creative environment and endless fun! You bring your own party supplies, cake, food and decorations.
Our party coordinator will supervise and guide all the building activities. We have mini-figures, candies and small LEGO sets to purchase as party favors. We now offer birthday parties for different age groups (from ages 5 to 14) at our locations in Los Altos, Saratoga and Belmont. We offer many kinds of parties with varied themes (the theme could vary depending upon the Birthday child’s interests, total number of children and total time for the party). We often tweak the theme to customize it your child’s interest and to make the experience unique. There are a number of interesting options: Rival Town: Build an entire city to rival an existing Kidizens LEGO city Star Wars and Space-related themes Race Cars (integrating Robotic elements) Transportation – trains, buses, airplanes, ships Baseball League: Perfect party for the birthday child who loves LEGOs as well as baseball Build Landmarks and monuments around the world Build a LEGO castle or a “sky-high” tower (more suitable for younger kids)
Contest Mania: Design contests involving themes that match the party or Birthday child’s interests Or Build Anything from Your Own Wild Imagination! How many children can participate? We have found that you need at least 8-10 children to generate enough excitement and energy and to make a successful party. The maximum number of kids for a party is 25. How much do you charge? Prices depend upon the location, the length of the party and number of children. We do charge a minimum of $250 per party. Please refer to our pricing page for more guidelines. Does the party work well for girls? Yes, all our projects are geared for girls and boys and are lot of fun for any creative child and/or LEGO builder. How long does the party last? Our parties are 2 hours long. There is a built-in window to allow all guests to arrive before starting the activity and there is also time built in for celebration and cake-cutting at the end. Our party coordinators make a presentation to help all kids immerse in the birthday theme and simulate fun events throughout the party to make it really engaging a lot of fun!!
Do you offer parties on weekdays? We do offer parties on select Friday afternoons, if scheduled sufficiently, at least a month, in advance. Do the participants get to keep any of the LEGO bricks? The participants don’t get to keep any of the bricks, but what the kids create is likely to live on in each child’s memories and photographs for a long time! We would love to share your child’s special day with you!!! Children will have a bricktastic time building models, creating, participating in games and activities. We try to make the party as little work for you as possible. We do everything from greet your guests, run activities with the kids, serve, pack your gifts and of course the set up and clean up. Your special birthday child will receive a Bricks 4 Kidz® t-shirt, LEGO® mini-model and LEGO® mini-figure!!! All parties are 2 hours. Bricks 4 Kidz Party Policies A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to reserve date and time.
Balance due at the end of party/event. Check and cash payments preferred. Credit card payments also accepted. A $35 fee will be applied to any returned checks, at which point, balance will have to be in cash or certified funds. Decorations include banners, and table covers. You are welcome to bring balloons, if desired. We recommend 12-16 guests (classmates/friends) of the birthday child as ideal for creating a joyful and comfortable setting for your child’s special day. Due to space and occupancy, we request only one parent for each child can stay and no siblings, if drop-off is not an option. Any children aged 3 and younger must be supervised by a parent/guardian, and it is advised that they play with the DUPLO® sized bricks or larger soft bricks as the normal-sized LEGO® elements contain many small parts and are not intended for ages 3 and under. If there are more than 20 participating children attending the party, a drop-off is strongly recommended, with no younger siblings in attendance.
Exceptions are younger siblings of the birthday child, and family and relatives being in attendance. Food, Drinks & Paper goods for any adult guests are not included – birthday parents are to provide. There will be a minimum charge of $15 if B4K supplies paper goods, plus the costs of food and drinks for adult guests. Additional party time is $50 per half hour, and will be charged if guests stay more than 15 minutes after the end of party. Party fees cover reservation and use of the B4K Space, B4K Staff, equipment, party tables, and chairs. Party family will be responsible for any damages to any property within the B4K space, our equipment, tables and chairs that occur during the party by any member of birthday family or attending guests. B4K Staff will plan and lead activities for the children. They will also help with the complete timing, food service, and hosting of the party ensuring a balanced and fun-filled party. B4K Staff will do all set-up and clean-up for the party.
The approximate timing of party activities will be as follows: 10-15 minutes: Arrival and Greeting of Guests – Free Building 40-45 minutes: Games and Activities led by B4K Party Staff 20 minutes: Food/Drink Service 15 minutes: Activities led by B4K Party Staff 15-20 minutes: Happy Birthday Gathering & Cake Service 5-10 minutes: Ending Activity usually Free Building, and Goody Bags DistributionPlease arrive for your party no earlier than 15 minutes prior to party start time. Your guests should arrive no sooner than 5 minutes prior to the Party Start Time. We may have other programs scheduled both before and after yours, and we want every group (including yours) to have our undivided attention. We do not have a sufficient waiting area for multiple parties.Bricks 4 Kiz will be ready to begin your party at the time written on your confirmation.All parties are 2 hours. Therefore, if your party start time is 11:00 am, you and your guests can enjoy our space until 1:00 pm.
Please note: we may need time to clean and then set-up for the next party, therefore, you will be charged $50 for the first 15 minutes of overtime and $75 for the second 15 minutes of overtime at Bricks 4 Kidz.Bricks 4 Kidz will have “Happy Birthday” banners and table covers. We feel no additional decorations are needed. We ask that nothing be hung or taped to the walls or ceiling. No confetti, glitter, silly string or piñatas are allowed.We strive to provide each party the same fabulous experience and give each our undivided attention. Cleanliness of the venue is an important aspect of a positive party experience. Therefore, we are quite strict on what food and drinks are served. This is for your benefit as much as that of others. Food you may bring – Cake or cup cakes (No ice-cream cakes), pizza, beverages. NO OTHER FOOD IS PERMITTED. If other food items are brought to the party, those items will not be allowed unless you have prior approval from Bricks 4 Kidz. NOTE: All food including cake/cupcakes MUST BE PEANUT FREE!!!
